Best video quality for the price
This is a well-built 3-channel dash cam featuring triple Sony STARVIS 2 sensors. The main front camera uses a true 4K STARVIS 2 IMX678 sensor with adaptive HDR, the interior camera records in 1080p with auto night vision, and the rear camera uses a 2.5K STARVIS 2 IMX662 sensor.A key advantage of this model is the exterior-mounted, waterproof rear camera. Because it sits outside the vehicle, it delivers noticeably better image quality than traditional interior-mounted rear cameras.Installation was straightforward since the kit includes all the necessary mounting hardware and cables. Another standout feature is PLATEPIX, which significantly improves license plate readability.The dash cam can be configured using the four physical buttons or through the companion Smart App, which connects via both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi and also supports online firmware updates.It includes all modern premium features and functionality such as a G-sensor, GPS for precise speed tracking , supercapacitor, enhanced low-light vision, voice control, and HDR for all three cameras.Inside car voice recording is clear and adjustable.There are four parking modes available; however, a hardwire kit is required. Fantastic picture, easy setup
Camera has a great image. It is just about as good as watching a movie on your 4k tv at home. Colors are fantastic. The depth of field is a lot better than other fisheye type dashcams. With this camera I can see items in detail at a much greater distance than any other dashcam I have had.The voice commands make sense (some other cams are phrased weirdly) and the camera seems to pick up my voice better than other cams I have had that also had voice commands.The bluetooth connection is great for being able to review videos using your phone if you had to show something to someone like the police.The camera feels solid. It is heavier than I expected and just feels durable. While I don’t plan to drop it to see what it does to the camera, it does feel like it could take a beating. It also installed very easily and comes with a spare window mount so that you can swap it between cars if you want to do that. It comes with 1 power cord, so you would need another one to seamlessly swap it around vehicles. It is USB-C though, so you probably have a hundred cords laying around like I do.And lastly, the setup was so easy a caveman could do it. I think it took less than a minute to do it. Maybe a bit more if I include pairing it to my phone.

I am a Vantrue ecosystem buyer so the N4 Pro S was an absolutely a great buy for me to capture not just front but other angles and have had not issue after am month’s useQuick few highlights:. Great video quality (which was the reason i bought it) front 4K, rear 2.5K and interior camera to fills any missing blind spots.. Night performance is genuinely good; plates were visible (it is hard if both are moving but I havent found any camera that does better FYI)…. It does have parking mode with GPS but i cannot test the parking more currently due to a weak battery which everyone should make sure isn’t an issue for them.Installation was cleaner than I expected due to the magnetic mount. Routing the cables took a little bit for my car but it is what it is…The overall clarity across all three lenses is the standout. The app connection is stable, connecting to phone to review footage was relatively quick and the camera starts recording instantly with the car. I also like that the coverage feels complete—you can see what’s happening ahead, behind, and inside without missing anything.This was purchased for Safety & Security reasons in mind to cover issues during an accident to provide the full picture and in instances where you can get hit from behind and the other party decides to run to give you more angles to cover yourself and also the parking mode for a lot of suburban issues ha!

4k in front, 2.5 rear and inside camera have you covered!
The front camera records in 4K, while the rear captures in 2.5K. All 3 cameras capture around the entire vehicle. Grabs excellent video to capture plates really well even at night. Most important one really is front and at 4k it will capture exactly what you need if that time comes when you need it most.Easy set up especially if you’ve done it a few times. Wifi app makes it much easier to check videos instead of pulling the SD card and running back to a computer to see them . It’s pretty heavy and large in size, much heavier than any of the 5 or 6 dash cams I’ve ever used. I put them behind the rear view mirror so it doesn’t really matter it’s big size. Comes with 3M adhezive so it’s not going anywhere.Pretty much the best one to run unless you are wanting the inside cameras that point to the sides like a 4 camera dash has but this covers well enough not really to need a 4.Every time they come out with a new dashcam they knock it out of the park. Had an issue a couple years ago with another Vantrue a couple cameras back and they came through with awesome customer service which is why I have stuck with Vantrue and as long at they keep it up, no need to switch it up to anything else.Make sure to get a decent SD card and you can go up to 1 TB.

First impressions? This might just be the best boxed dash cam on the market. It delivers a strong initial impact with its sleek design and premium feel.I installed it in my BYD EV. The setup was fairly straightforward. The front camera records can 4K, while the rear captures in 2.5K.It’s a bit bulkier than my previous unit, and I found the voice commands a little flaky (Perhaps my Aussie accent threw it off).The rear camera is IP67 waterproof rated (whatever that means), which allows for external installation. I opted to mount it inside the car to avoid drilling into my new vehicle.That said, the rear mount is clearly designed for external use near the number plate, which makes internal placement a bit awkward. One gripe I have is with the collision detection; it’s overly sensitive. Speed bumps and potholes frequently trigger photo captures.Still, I’d rather have it err on the side of caution than miss someone sideswiping my car and driving off without a trace.Pros* Exceptional Video Quality: 4K front and 2.5K rear recording deliver stunning clarity.* Flexible Recording Options: You can choose to record with one, two, or all three cameras.( I personally disabled the cabin cam)* Premium Design & Build: It feels solid and looks great—other brands could learn a thing or two from Vantrue.* Feature-Rich Menus: Tons of customisation options make it easy to tailor the experience to your needs.Cons* Installation Challenges: The cable placement on the right side feels awkward; top-mounted would’ve been better.* Limited Mount Movement: The front camera mount lacks flexibility. Hopefully, this won’t be an issue in an accident, but it’s a concern shared across most dash cams.Overall, despite a few quirks, this dash cam stands out for its video quality and brilliant design. Die VANTRUE N4 Pro macht ein richtig gutes Bild, auch nachts sind Kennzeichen und Details klar zu erkennen. Installation war einfach, und falls man sich mal mit der Position vertut, liegen direkt zwei Befestigungstapes bei, sehr praktisch.Die Kamera gibt einem echt ein gutes Gefühl von Sicherheit im Straßenverkehr, weil einfach alles dokumentiert wird. Die App funktioniert auch gut, Verbindung klappt schnell und die Aufnahmen lassen sich problemlos anschauen und speichern.Für mich eine rundum gelungene Dashcam, die tut, was sie soll und das in richtig guter Qualität. Kann ich jedem der nach einer guten Dashcam sucht empfehlen.
