I drive a Tesla Model 3, and I’m very particular about what I add to its clean, minimalist interior. Most dash cams look like cheap, plastic afterthoughts, but the COOLCRAZY model is different. Its design is sleek, with a matte black finish and a compact form factor that looks like it was designed specifically for a modern electric vehicle. It doesn’t obstruct my view or look out of place. It just blends in seamlessly, which is a huge plus for me.Performance-wise, it’s a powerhouse. The 4K video is as sharp as the built-in Tesla cameras, and the GPS functionality adds a crucial layer of data that my car’s system doesn’t provide on its own. The installation was a no-brainer. I didn’t want to run any messy wires or pay for a professional installation. The adhesive mount is fantastic—it’s secure but, from what I’ve read, can be removed without too much trouble if needed. The small screen is perfectly discreet and gives me the confidence that it’s always on and recording.I did have one small hiccup with the initial GPS setup, but a quick message to customer service fixed it in no time. It’s been smooth sailing ever since. For a dash cam that looks this good and works this well, I really can’t ask for more.

The built-in GPS and WiFi work perfectly with the app, and it’s very convenient to view the footage directly from my phone. I’ve been using this dash cam for a while and the truth has surprised me for good. The quality of the 4K video is very good, the images look clear and with a good level of detail, especially during the day. The viewing angle is quite wide, so it manages to cover the entire road without leaving blind spots.The installation was simple and the menu is intuitive. It includes a 32 GB microSD card, which is a good detail because many cameras do not bring one. It also has integrated GPS that shows the speed and location in the videos, something very useful if an incident occurs.The WiFi connection and the app work properly, although sometimes it can take a few seconds to link to the phone. From the application you can review or download the videos without having to take out the memory, which is very convenient.The 24-hour parking mode is another great advantage, since it allows you to record movements or impacts when the car is off. Of course, for it to work all the time it is recommended to use an additional wiring (hardwire kit) so that it does not affect the vehicle’s battery.

This is my first time EVER reviewing any product on Amazon. At first I was worried that it might not connect well with my car but boy was I waaaay off!First off, it came with all the instructions I would ever need to set it up. The app was pretty easy to find and download.Second the camera powered on very quickly and was easy to set up. I changed the videos from 2k to 4k and the camera quality was quite good.Third, there wasn’t any instruction on how to secure it to the windshield so Google helped. Connectivity: Connecting the camera to my phone was so quick and easy. It took me about 3 minutes cause I took my time.Overall, I love the camera and the video/picture quality. I was able to save videos and pictures to my phone very easily and also take screenshots from my phone with the dash cam!I am really thrilled about this purchase because I didn’t need a rear camera and this one checked all the boxes I was looking for in car dash cam.It’s really great for the price! Functions really well so far! Definitely recommend!

Excellent camera for the price point
Very neat camera. Compact and easy to setup and use. The adhesive tape seems to be very strong; it sticked to the windshield very quickly and the camera is not moving anywhere. Image and sound quality are very good.You can configure to record clips on 1, 3 or 5 minutes, and the clips will autorotate when the SD card is getting full.The phone App connects to the camera via Wi-Fi. The connection works ok, but if your car has Wireless Apple CarPlay, the phone will keep switching connection between teh camera and the head unit.

I bought this camera to replace one that was 6 years old and (had just) suffered a problem with it’s WiFi! I did my research and was generally pleased with the reviews for the CoolCrazy 4K Dash Cam, so I bought it. I’ve been using it for just over a week and am very happy with the quality of the video; the images are very crisp. I like having a built-in GPS so the vehicle speed is included in the video. Overall, this is a quality camera that I would definitely not hesitate to recommend to someone.Here are a couple of things that might be of interest if you are considering this camera.1) Once the camera is mounted, I don’t see any way to detach it from its base if, for some reason, you wanted to have easy access to the camera to adjust something in the setup. My camera is mounted behind/infront of the rearview mirror so that it does not impact my field of view. In that location, viewing the screen and making changes is a little challenging. I did that by choice and it would not be a problem in a different location.2) Connecting the camera to the APP. The instructions are very clear and it works, and I like the App! Here’s the thing – and it might not be important to you – but, when you want to connect the APP to the camera, you have to manually turn the WiFI on via the menu in the camera every time! I’ve owned a number of dash cameras and the camera WiFi was always on and available. I wish this camera had an option in the setup to allow you to select “always on” for the WiFi. Perhaps the vendor will consider this option in an update to the camera’s BIOS!

Very pleased with customer care.Easy to install. Picture is pretty clear. Not one week in the vehicle and the camera unit keeps resetting. Extremely annoying!
