Amazing Performance with Really Easy Setup
Yes, the price may be on the higher side but with WiFi 7, I should be future-proof for a good 4-5 years. Although I am technically inclined, the setup was super easy and quick. Although control of the system is limited to an app (vs. a webpage) everything you need is in there to give you a lot of control and options.I am lucky enough to have a Gig internet connection and once this mesh system was setup and I run a speed test on my phone, I’m getting that full connection over WiFi and great connectivity.I’ve had this for about 2 months now and now issues at all. Although I’m in an apartment, I have coverage for over 1400 sq. ft. The range is great and again, although not cheap, I feel is a good value.

Budget friendly awesome Wi-Fi 7 Mesh Router!
This thing is GREAT!!! I switched from a Gryphon to this and WOW! Setup was a matter of 10-15 mins tops, very easy, and seamless setup via the app. I now have 3 devices in my home in different areas of the house, vs the 2 prior devices, and rock-solid internet and Wi-Fi 7 throughout. I especially love the handling of older IoT devices as the router seems to know what the IoT devices support up to and automatically connects them to the right band (2GHz vs 5GHz), so there’s been no need to set up a separate network for IoT, nor need to set up a 2GHz or 5GHz band separately, as I did before. The app is excellent and provides helpful information at the touch of a few buttons. Weekly and monthly reporting, AND the yearly fee for the security protection is way cheaper than most brands. For a budget-friendly Wi-Fi 7 mesh network, THIS IS YOUR PRODUCT.

    Amazing Mesh system
I finally got Fiber cable 1 gig. I don’t have wired access except for my office in the corner. I can connect at near 1 Gb to my streamer in the living room, and my iPad in the bedroom! Easy to set up and use Amazing!

Great product if you have a basic network.
I bought this to replace a pair of older Unifi Access points. If you have a basic network (modem and basic firewall only), and you can stand to configure with a phone app, then this is a great product for you. My wifi would never go past my garage door with the Unifi products. With this in place, I was connecting to my wifi from the sidewalk across the street. While the speed across the street was not as fast as within my house, it was STILL faster than my current Unifi access points. The App:For having to use an app to setup, it’s not that bad. I have used other products that required a phone app to setup (Helm e-mail) and it was not a great experience. It is very easy to configure and setup with the app, but in my opinion it should be backed up by a web portal on the access points directly. The reason I am returning is that I have 3 VLANs in my house, main LAN, IoT and Cameras. I do not want or need it to be the router/firewall/core of my network and wanted to run it in AP mode. When this device is placed into AP mode there is ZERO support for VLANs. And it’s not documented on every page that talks about AP mode, it’s in a help page a few clicks into the vendors support pages. This should be more clear on every page that talks about AP mode. I did contact support about this and they were very responsive.Honestly after the huge range and increase in performance I’m disappointed to have to return these however VLANs support is a requirement for me. If you need advanced features, look at the Netgear Orbi Pro. But if you need basic networking, these will do great for you.

If you can use WiFi 7, these are exactly what you want.
I’ve had Decos for several years now and I love them. A good mesh network makes home WiFi problems disappear. The app itself is idiot proof, which is a huge plus (I’m in tech, but I still appreciate the simplicity.)This was an upgrade as I just built a new PC and the motherboard is WiFi 7 capable, and I wanted to see how well that would work across my 1929 brick and wood home. The results are everything I could hope for. The 6ghz WiFi network is natively separate from the 5 and 2.4ghz networks, and native support for MLO is right there too. Speed tests on WiFi 7 are just under my gigabit fiber speed, coming in at ~920-940mbps.I really couldn’t ask for more.

Nice looking and connectivity is very good BUT only 25% upload speeds
AND support does NOT care to help!Summary first, I have 1GB up/down but when the X90 is in the mix I get 1GB down and 255MB up. Computer direct, 1GB up/down so the speed loss is through THIS device. For a long time, I loved the TP-Link line of MESH devices, and in fact have found them to be the most compatible especially with the MESH hand-offs. This device is no different; I have a mix of this (X90) and the smaller ones (X60) and they play well together but, in some ways TP-Link is not doing justice with the configuration, and even childish in ways.As for the quality of connection, looks, setup, etc; this device is hard to beat. No complaints there. However, if you want to make ANY types of configuration tuning, forget it!! The device has a nice diagnostic and it report things that might have a negative effect on your signal and speed (e.g., channel number congestion), but that’s it, it is ONLY a report. You can’t change the channel and the device doesn’t appear smart enough to change itself (nice report but of 0 value). The speed test in the X90, it’s a children’s game; honestly, a car race while it checks your speed? But that isn’t the worse part, the speed reported is often 0/0 and when it’s a positive number it’s 10x off test run on a connected device. The X60, perfect on the speed test and no silly car race game. So, summary, good for drop-in and use it, poor for configuration options and extremely poor for tests and diagnostics. Again, the X60, missing configuration options, speed test in the X60 is good.

    Great coverage mesh system
I bought this TP-Link Deco BE67 Tri-Band WiFi 7 BE14000 Whole Home Mesh System to complement my existing wifi network, and it exceeded my expectations. Signal is great, speeds are great. Only drawback is that is needs the Deco app for configuration and there is no proper web interface. Units are smaller than i thought so they don’t take up too much space. 10GB interface is a good addition. All in all, great devices.

Had alot of issues with loosing connection every often. Tried expensive Gaming routers did not make any difference as they are good up to one floor I believe.I have couple out door cameras and doorbell camra and had issues connecting to them.Kids were complaining for online school. After doing a lot of research i make up my mind for Netgear mesh system or TPlink Deco.I was already using Netgear router and extender and i love there products. Also i am fan of TP link as well for very long time and used there products as well.A friend of mine at work recommended me TPlink deco as well.Right after installation everything started working fine with full speed and never lost connection, apart of the usual Bandwidth throttling in the evening or weekends.Switching from 75mb cable to 300mb hi speeds internet.Very satisfied so far and will recommend this to anyone who lives in a house with 4 bedrooms with over 60 devices or more. (Supports up to 200 devices).Installed the units in the first floor cross the two corners on the first floor and it covers the whole house back and front and all 4 bedrooms with no more connections issues.Buy it for piece of mind. The other good thing is that Amazon automatically charge me 12 equal payments for another piece of mind. Thanks Amazon and TPlink.

I’ve had Google Wifi (slow) and Netgear Orbi RBK50 (unstable) and now this Deco X90. While this is the first Wifi 6 that I have had, 99% of my devices are on Wifi 5.Simply put, it took less than 5 minutes to setup and the speeds I am getting throughout my whole house are faster than I have ever had with other systems. It hasn’t slowed down or needed a reboot since I powered it up. I’d recommend this to anyone that wants a simple to setup, reliable and fast mesh system. There are no dead spots at all in my 2,700 sq ft home and I got two units on my main floor at opposite ends. I have never seen any device with less than “Excellent” wifi connections since hooking this up. This includes devices on upper and lower floors. The app is great too. A little lacking in features but for regular users it’s perfect.I will circle back to this review if anything changes but so far so good.

My bedroom is the only part of the house that has poor connectivity. For years I’ve had to just deal with it. My Wi-Fi router (TP-Link Archer AX50) couldn’t hack it, having to go through 4 walls (2 load-bearing), the stairwell, and my bathroom. The most cost-effective solution was using TP-Link Powerline adapters which allowed me to get about 130Mbps over my existing wiring. This was good enough for some 1080p gaming and basic internet use. However, since I got into product reviews on YouTube and creating 4K video projects, I needed a more robust solution. And as much as I’d love to run ethernet lines throughout my home, that’s simply not financially feasible at this time. With the massive advances in Wi-Fi technology I had to give wireless mesh systems a look.Weighing the pros and cons of each system out there (and there’s a ton of them), I went with the TP-Link Deco AX6600 as it gave me the best bang for my buck. And it did not disappoint!Setup was straightforward — just follow the simple instructions and you’re up and running. What’s even better is that you just have to plug in the satellite unit and it will automatically pair up within 2 minutes. There’s also a lot of versatility to this as both units can be set up as individual Access Points if needed. And contrary to what some reviewers have mentioned, you definitely can set up separate SSIDs.My only issue is that these only have 2 ports each if you’re looking to plug devices directly; one of which will already be occupied by the modem. I also noticed that my connection would cut out while hardwired to the satellite — not good while gaming or working in the cloud. However, when going full wireless this mesh system can easily handle everything I throw at it! The signals are strong, penetrating, and all-encompassing. It handles multiple devices easily, including 2 PCs and a laptop, 5 smartphones, 3 Fire TV 4K Max Sticks, and 2 iPads simultaneously.I don’t consider myself a TP-Link fan boy, but they’ve consistently come out with competitive products that are solidly built, have great features, and perform at the same level as the top name brands. And at more reasonable prices! You can’t go wrong! I’m more than satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it. Happy shopping!
