Solid Dash Cam with Excellent Support and Value
Solid Dash Cam with Great Support and Value -I bought this dash cam not knowing exactly what to expect. The price was right, and the specs matched what I was looking for. After installation, I noticed the camera stayed powered on even after I turned off the engine. I contacted the company, and their customer service responded promptly. The representative explained possible reasons for the issue and offered to send a hardwire kit to resolve it. However, one of the reasons provided was that the cigarette lighter could stay on after engine was turned off, so I looked it up. I discovered that the cigarette lighter in my car remains active for 45 minutes after the engine shuts off. So, the issue wasn’t with the dash cam—it was with my car’s power settings, which I can reprogram. I thanked the customer service rep and let them know the hardwire kit wasn’t necessary. I appreciated their quick and helpful response.The dash cam itself works well and was easy to set up. The suction cup mount is strong, and I really like the touch screen—it makes operation simple and intuitive. My only complaint is the rear camera wiring: there’s no easy way to hide the long wires, and I really wish future products could have a wireless connection to the main camera.Overall, this is a very nice product for its price range. It delivers solid performance, and the customer support was excellent.

Easy Install, Works Great
This is a quality product. The cameras provide clear high resolution pictures. The camera menu lots of choices for customizing to preferences. The WiFi was easy to connect to view video on my phone. With the OBD wiring, installation of the front camera took 10 minutes. The rear camera wiring took about 20 minutes but was easily tucked into the interior headliner seams—much easier than anticipated. The camera turns on automatically when the car is started and changes to parking mode when the car is off. The voice commands work well but patience is the key since there is a bit of a delay—give it time to implement the command. I can’t say enough about customer service from this company. They didn’t wait for me to contact them, they messaged me first and were extremely helpful and responsive. I’m glad to recommend this product.

Great price for the features.
The suction cup is awesome. It’s on there! I liked how the base and the camera connect to each other. But the swivel is slightly loose. Make sure your wires have just a touch of slack and don’t pull the camera in an unwanted direction.Quality of the video is great. Setup was easy. The rear camera is on par with most other cameras out there.

Purchased with the hardwire kit and CPL lens filter. Watched multiple YouTube videos on the install. Watch the bad ones as well just to get an idea of how NOT to do the install. After preparing myself, tackled the install over the weekend. Easiest part was installing the back camera. My Hyundai Santa FE SEL has a hatchback, and for most that was their hardest part. I guess the videos helped me prepare. The rear camera was installed in less than an hour. Plenty of cable, routed along the top down the passenger side. The harder part was finding the right place to plug the hardware kit for power. Key points (1) install the ground wire first, (2) install the battery wire on a fuse (or empty) spot that is always on, the battery voltage will read on the display box on the adapter, (3) install the other on another fuse preferably for ACC (needs to be OFF when car is off and ON when the car is on), when you get this one attached start the car and verify the box display changes to say ACC on the display instead of the battery voltage. Then route the power wires to the camera and the rear camera connections to the dashcam.The video is great when playing from a computer. 4K all around and the player you get from the website even has a ZOOM feature. I started using the 12-hour time-laps recordings, this takes up a lot of memory on the card so you only get about 2 days for the 128G card they supply. I’ve switched to just using the G-sensors now to turn on when it detects motion (jarring), and record as I am driving.Overall happy with my purchase, there are a few things I wish it had: (1) ability to adjust the delay between frames for the time-lapse feature would make it better at not using a lot of memory, (2) my model seems to record the front and rear with slightly different numbers at the end and the player doesn’t know how to sync up the timestamps in the video when playing back (for the time being I can rename the rear to end in the same numbers as the front to fix), and (3) the manuals are very light on content only explains the features by name but doesn’t go into detail what they mean… example they talk about the G-sensor with settings for Off/Low/Medium/High but don’t describe which is more sensitive… in some languages Low translates to higher sensitivity to movement. Also the instructions on the video player for the computer is very light in content even the phone app has huge untapped potential. With it you can see real-time your path on a map and the video sent to your phone while driving. Could be expanded to supply directions.Great product overall… may update later with more details as I try and research all the features.Even better support! Their people are on top and respond quickly to try and answer your questions. If I wasn’t such a computer geek I’d probably have a lot more questions.

Excellent product
Keeping it short, as a first time Dashcam user I’m over the moon with how easy the install was plus wiring and tucking. Then the unit itself is perfect for my Explorer with excellent performance and video quality. The app is great for downloading to my phone and getting instant results.WiFi is real easy just take your time and get familiar with all the features. I’m hard wired in to the fuse box with micro2 taps giving the cam the ability to monitor Gforce and Timelapse parking without running the battery down.It’s gives you an extra sense of security when driving these days in Orlando FL where the i4 is just like the Daytona Race track.Excellent product so far will definitely recommend it to anyone.If you’re not mechanical inclined hire someone to install it.It’s worth it.

Great Camera, average camera app.
Love this dash cam. I currently have two, one for each vehicle. Installation is easy. Video quality is great. Field of view for both the front and back is good.Highly recommend getting an adapter for your phone that will let you pull video directly from the SD card instead of going through the RedTiger app. The app can take some time to connect and can be a little more difficult to access video.
