Great product, easy to install, and cheaper than a new laptop.
After 4.5 years, my ASUS VivoBook 15 M513IA (8GB RAM) was running slow, so I could either attempt to upgrade it or buy a new laptop. $700 or $75 (including the price of the tools to do it)? ….the choice was easy. I did my research, compared products and brands, and checked compatibility and installation information (Crucial has a lot of helpful info on their site). All told, the installation took about 20 minutes- the hardest part was getting the back of the laptop off- and I went from 8GB to 24GB with no hiccups. In the 10 months since installation, I’ve had no issues and less lag. Please, don’t be scared of doing your own upgrades, but do your research.
