Great Meshtastic Device!
I absolutely love the Wio Tracker L1. I was in between this and the pro model but I thought this one looked better. It came pre flashed with Meshtastic so it was ready to use out of the box. There was an update available but you just need to plug it in and go to the web flasher and update. The case that it came with is sturdy and looks great. Assembly was really easy. For the price it’s a great option if you’re getting into Meshtastic devices since it comes with a screen and GPS built in. The battery life is far greater than some of the ESP32 options, this will last for a few days on a single charge vs a few hours on other devices. Overall I would recommend buying. It’s a great device and small enough to fit in your pocket or bag when on the go and the cost was less than others with the same functionality.

Best standalone mesh node!
The Meshnology N37 is the best standalone Meshtastic node hands down. With the right firmware easy to find you can enable an on screen keyboard and don’t even need to use a phone or computer. The build quality on the case is easily the best I’ve seen on any mesh node. I love the design aesthetic and the color options. The price is significantly less than any other standalone style nodes and it has all the same functionality. It fits nicely in my jacket even after swapping the rp-sma bulkhead to sma so I could use more common antenna choices. I even had it on my kite that ended up in a river and I was able to dry it out and it came back to life. It was really easy to assemble.

Good LoRa starter setup but reverse SMA limits functionality with my other LoRa antennas
This is a very nice device with a useful power switch. The 3Ah battery provides power for days. The antenna that comes with it is better than most of the short stubs that come with these nodes, however, it is a reverse SMA. Most LoRa devices (and other radios for that matter) come with normal SMA. You can replace it with a normal SMA or an adapter but an added inconvenience. Great little node with good range (using the provided antenna or a separate 7 inch 3dbi Tenmory antenna). Don’t believe the wild claims of some 5db or 10db gain rubber duck antennas.

As always a great product from Seeed. These are hands down the best complete LoRa boards I’ve ever used. Loaded with MeshCore ans used at a local festival they were great.

Great concept, send the case back to the drawing board.
Wio Tracker L1 board is a great board, however, in the package that I received from Meshnology, the 3D printed case did not fit the board. I had to use a pocket knife to gouge out the areas where the corners of the board are supposed to sit and get screwed down into as the dimensions of the board were larger then what they printed for. The two buttons work fine, but the joystick function is also not lined up where it should be and I will have to Dremel that opening to be larger to allow for full functionality as I currently can only use up or left, but it sits too close to the right lower edge of the opening to use down or right. Great board, poorly designed 3d printed case. Is usable with modification.

Great Mesh unit
These are some of the nicest units I’ve had the pleasure of working with. They’re super easy to use and the cases are a quality build. I was able to get the set of 2 for $50, which is a great value for the money. Everything was included with the kit. The only thing I modified was the antenna fitting from an SMA Male to an SMA Female so it would be able to accept the other antenna’s I already have. I like the Buzzer function, which alarms you when a message was received. I will definitely look at getting some more of these.

Sehr gute Hardware. Tut ihren Dienst besser als erwartet. Das Gehäuse hat ein paar Mängel, da könnte man bei der Konstruktion sicher noch etwas verbessern. Eine zusätzliche Schraube, die das Gehäuse beim GPS zusammenhält, wäre nicht verkehrt.
