Real deal walkie talkies
These are great!!! My children and I have used these everyday since receiving.They do have a long reach (I sent my daughter out of our apartment down to the first floor and she extended it by walking to the street) about .2-.3 of a mile from where I was just to test it. I’m sure it reaches further since we’ve picked up other walkie talkies in area.It does pick up other walkie Talkies in the area that are on the station that you’re using. You have 22 channels to use. And you can have it set to DCS or CCTS. All talkies need to be on the same channel settings to hear everyone clearly. You can also set it to where you don’t need to push button to talk. It can be locked like that, and so can the screen. That lock setting is great for younger children who’ll be using it.There are volume buttons to adjust the sound. They do get very loud, and the sound is clear as long as you have a good station. The call (ringtone) sound can be changed. There are ten different tones for that.They came fully charged. The batteries last for a few hours, about 4-5, then they’ll need to be recharged. I let them charge overnight, so I don’t have an exact answer on how long they take to charge.The back cover is on there very well, so have a butter knife or strong finger ready to open it. Remove the clip first to open the battery compartment. If you don’t, then it will not open. And the lanyard can be removed by pressing the silver circle button. That way it can be attached easily to the loop on the back clip.

Long range walkie talkies for both kids and adults pack of 6
This is an awesome pack of walkie talkies. Both kids and adults can get use out of these. Colors are really cute for the kids. I love the lanyard feature as it makes it easier for the kids to hang on to them and I kind of like it myself. I picked these talkies to have on hand in case for some reason my daughter and my phone would go out. She lives not far from here so these would make great alternative form of communication. The sound quality is great and we can communicate perfectly with them.. I love the fact they are rechargeable so I do not have to buy a lot of batteries. NOAA channel comes in nice and clear. . These talkies are light weight, extremely good quality and durability. They are small so they fit great in a kids hand and not bulky for an adult. 6 is a great size pack as there are 6 of us between the 3 house holds. I absolutely recommend this pack of walkie talkies if you looking for a good package to purchase. I absolutely would order again.

Perfect for families and emergencies
Picked these up for my family for both play and emergency use. We are a small family and we extend to use half of the. For play and hiking while keeping the other half on deck for emergency.These have worked great so far. I love they come with both a lanyard and a belt clip for easy means to attach. My husband loves the batteries and that they are recharable at that. And my toddler, loves that he can use them which is 5 stars alone as they have push to talk and voice to activate. Bonus is that you dont have to have them all set to the same mode so only his is VtA. He can spend hours “exploring” our back yard, while I actually can do the dishes.They are made of hard plastic and seem durable. They are like Garmin quality but they do seem to be able to handle our needs well enough

A nice upgrade from kids walkies.
The sound is much clearer. They come with rechargeable batteries, which is great because these things blow through batteries. I love that everyone can pick a color. We will use them camping and hiking, as a family. We do not get that far away from each other and live in the NE, so civilization is always nearby. I would not use these if we were in the middle of nowhere, on a serious climb, there are other options for that scenario. These are good for a weekend or week of backpacking on the AT, staying close by each other. We get max a few hundred feet from each other, so we do not push the distance. No clue how far you can actually stretch it, because I never tried.
