Not a smart tv anymore.
I have bought 2 or 3 Vizio tvs over the years. I’ve only had problems with one of them, after we had it for 6 mths it started getting dark spots on the screen. It would start flickering in a section of the screen and after a while it would be a dark spot there. You can still watch it and see the picture but it’s just got lite and dark patches. I put this one in my bedroom since I hardly ever watch tv in there anyway. But now I can even use it unless I hook it to a satellite, fire stick, vcr, Roku etc. it says yahoo stopped supporting it. It’s very aggravating, my parents tv, back in the day, lasted 20+ yrs but I’ve only had this one for around 10 yrs give or take and now it’s worthless unless I buy something else to go in it. We don’t have satellite or cable because our “ smart” tvs all have the apps so we just do streaming. So I guess after ten yrs or so our smart tvs become dumb TVs and then we have to buy something else to hook it up to of trash it and spend more money on a new one that in ten yrs might do the same thing.

Good, Solid TV with Beautiful Picture Quality
I’ve had this TV for about 4 years now. I am very happy with the quality of the product and the beautiful picture so far.I’ve only had one issue, and that is it will occasionally freeze requiring a reboot to set it straight. But this is a minor issue considering the great price.

Good TV, bad software
The picture and sound are good, but I don’t like that before this TV would do anything, I had to set up an account with Vizio. Seriously? Then while trying to use one of the built-in streaming apps, it kept complaining that there was no input signal. That’s the point of built-in streaming apps, isn’t it? That problem went away after I plugged in and removed an HDMI source, and unplugged and replugged the TV (I don’t know which action fixed this problem).

LAGGING TV!!!!!
Never buy this tv. I would like to first start off by saying the tv is great quality and everything but when it comes to the software itself on the tv it’s the worst. You can hardly load any streaming services on the tv, you care barely change your channel input with lag, you can barely turn on the tv without lag. I would not recommend this tv to anyone unless you are using it only for gaming purposes. Anything else do not buy.
