Used for iPhone ProRes recording and it’s awesome
I installed this M.2 drive into a USB-C external drive enclosure that uses mag-safe with my phone and have been using it for ProRes recording so I don’t just fill my phone up in ten minutes of video recording.It installed easily, and after creating partitions, it worked and continues to work flawlessly. This little drive fit perfectly in the enclosure and has been super reliable at high transfer speeds over and over again. It didn’t cost an arm and a leg either.Very happy with this drive for video recording!

Worked right out of the box
I needed a quality 256GB SSD module to work with my Waveshare PCIe to M.2 Adapter for the Raspberry Pi 5. Apparently the Waveshare PCIe Adapter is quite picky about what brand of SSD modules will work with it. I noticed in the Waveshare PCIe Adapter video they were using either an Erin or a Transcend 256GB SSD module so I purchased the Transcend 256GB SSD module and it has worked just fine with the Waveshare PCIe Adapter.The RPi 5 Bookworm Desktop OS now boots up off of the SSD module lightning fast and I have upped the PCIe speed to the ‘PCIe 3’ mode from the ‘PCIe 2’ mode without any issues.

Installed this in a Dell laptop with a 256GB Intel boot drive. This one is twice as large. Performance has been great, and the extra space is appreciated!

Works with Radxa 3C, cannot boot on it with standard boot loader but mounts as normal disk after boot on sdcard.

I bought the 512Gb version to replace the 64Gb drive in my Steam Deck. Swapping was easy but you’ll need a spudger or guitar pick to pry the back cover off the deck after unscrewing. I went for this drive because it’s 1.5a. I’ve read some people saying the higher amp 1Gb and 2Gb drives run hotter *possibly* shortening the life of the deck.

Aunque tenía buenas referencias de sus memorias, no acababa de fiarme de la marca para un SSD M2. Pero al final cedí por el buen precio y la verdad es que de momento va perfecto. No solo se nota el obvio aumento de capacidad respecto al eMMC de 64GB que llevaba mi Steam Deck de fábrica, sino que se nota más rápida, tanto al cargar el sistema o los juegos, como al descargarlos de internet y instalarlos.
