Fantastic PoE budget for the price
I’ve installed a handful of these in systems where this is the only non-Ubiquiti device on the network. The amount of power these switches support for the prices is too great of a value to pass up.Everything you could expect from an un-managed switch. Plug and play so no real interface to manage but easy to set up. I’ve had no issues with speed or reliability.

Good product
Great and simple PoE switch. Fed by a Ubiquiti point to point, PoE functions worked for my Tp link access points, but not my outdoor rated ubiquiti access point, wouldn’t power it up off PoE port, ended up using PoE adapter in network panel to power it up. Been using this for many months now in my barn/barndominum that is 1000 ft away from house, no issues operating with point to point, haven’t had to do any configurations or resetting equipment, true plug and play.

Reduce Lag in Internet Speed
Works Great. I have tried others and was less then impressed. Very easy to install. It took a lot of load off of of my wifi network. Highly recommend. If you have the ability to connect all or some of your TV’s and Computers and Game Councils to this watch how much faster your network will become.

A budget-friendly PoE switch!
I needed a relatively affordable network switch with 16 overall ports with at least two of them being power-over-Ethernet (PoE) to supply my ceiling-mounted access points. This one met my needs and is operating flawlessly!

NIce and fast and expandable
I didn’t realize my old switch was too slow for the fiber internet we currently have, so adding this switch to our internet has improved or speeds significantly. Solidly built. TP-Link makes quality gear.

Esy for beginner to install correctly.
NVR is easy to install, plug and play. Rj45 patch/short cable from NVR to one side of POE switch, other end of same poe port across same cable to camera. Walla, Camera powered and sending signal to NVR and NVR can do whatever functions the camera can give. It is a pass through port powering up the camera from it to NVR. Yes I recommend this Item.

I’m happy with this product.
After moving my router to a more central location in the house, I found that my old 8-port, PoE switch, located in the attic, had one port that wasn’t working. Switching port connections didn’t help. A little on-line research showed that the switch was rated functional down to 10 degrees F. Temps in my attic occasionally reach minus 20, but as mentioned, the switch had worked well for 10 yrs +. Searching for a switch rated to 20 below meant spending BIG bucks for a military grade unit.I bought this unit, drilled a 2″ diameter hole in the ceiling of the closet of my office, stuffed all the cables through a 2″ grommet, and stuffed cotton balls in the excess space. I caulked around the top in the attic and replaced about 10″ of insulation atop it. The unit’s power cable was stuffed up through the grommet and was long enough to reach a standard electrical outlet in the attic.Mounting the unit on a wall below the grommet was simple. It’s silent, but I may have paid more for it than needed due to my ignorance of what was needed. It has switches for various configurations – I left those in default position. All is working well. All cables connectivity is good. Compared to the old, basic switch I replaced, build quality seems to be excellent.Based on the description of this switch, it may be more appropriate for a small business application. At this time, I’m connecting 8 surveillance cameras, but plan on adding one or two more, and wanted extra ports for that.As mentioned, it’s a bit pricier than I may have needed, but I now have a fully functional switch, and the project to replace is over.

⚙️ TP-Link TL-SG116DP 16-Port Gigabit Switch ReviewOrdered 2, but only received 1 😕Didn’t bother raising a complaint with Amazon as I needed it urgently — just grabbed another one from my local computer store instead. 💻The switch itself works fine and does the job, but the delivery mix-up was disappointing. 🚚❌⭐ Rating: 3/5 — Product good, delivery not so much.
