Helpful gadget to capture what’s happening.
I’ve had people harrassing my somewhat quiet duplex apartment, but unless you can prove that with evidence like footage then nothing will get done. I had harassment like tapping on my windows, banging on my door in the middle of the night as well as pulling on my doorknobs after midnight. I can’t move just yet so I have to catch the culprit(s) with the help of the good police and neighborhood watchmen. I will be buying a couple more of these as backup cameras. The vision is clear, I use night vision to stop glares. I like the app. Yes, there is a subscription after free thirty days, but the deals are okay especially considering my ordeal. The big deal I might get covers ten cameras for less than two hundred dollars a year. Motion detection works well. I have the camera plugged inside the house and facing the doorstep and road. I can see across the street well and good visual through the glass and metal screen, so I can identify vehicles but maybe not the license plates, unless I don’t have it at the best setting yet. I had to try a couple times for intial wifi connection at first setup since I’m a novice. I haven’t had any problems for thirty days, the internet seems to be doing its job. Having a couple of battery operated, non wifi cameras would be a good idea in the case of an outage. I am still learning the features but I’m happy with the buy. The camera has two way audio so you can communicate or give an alert sound. Sound is picked up well on the camera. Sorry I posted no pictures, I haven’t stationed the camera in the right spot so it’s not stable. Stay safe, wish me luck!

The uncontested best home camera
This is the best home security camera for the following reasons:I have used 6 different types of APP-based home cameras over time. Generally, the whole gist is that you have to pay a monthly subscription free (Ring is the most notorious). For most cameras, the “live view” is the only free feature. Live view is the most useless quality as, unless you are watching it 24/7, and then record it with your phone, it does not help you.This camera also has quite a wide lens and decent enough quality that, unless you are trying to read a book 20 feet away, you can see all the details that the average person needs.For connecting this to your home WiFi, this is also easier than brands like Motorola which drop consistently – and then make an alarm sound. Motorola is the only brand I would advise to steer far away from; monthly fees, expensive products, poor connection, poor user interface, etc.The other advantage of this camera, which cannot be understated, is the ability to pop in a micro SD card (got a 128gb for $7) and then have it record locally when motion detection is triggered. You can access this through the APP, at any time – you do not need to remove the card. This is all free.For most of these home security cameras on the market, it is the high upfront cost of the device and the constant nag of features being hid behind a pay wall which alienates the user. This does not have that.I honestly cannot believe that the best home camera I own is ~$20 and they sync perfectly. I do not know why this is not the “standard” product advertised.Quite simply, it is exactly what you want without asking for additional payments on a never-ending pop-up loop.Hats off to this product. Phenomenal.

La Tapo TP-Link 1080P me sorprendió muchísimo. La calidad de imagen es muy buena tanto de día como de noche, y el modo infrarrojo se ve súper claro. La instalé en menos de 5 minutos: la app es intuitiva, reconoce rápido la cámara y permite controlar todo desde el teléfono.El sensor de movimiento funciona perfecto y me llegan las notificaciones en segundos. También me gusta que puedo ver el video en vivo desde cualquier lugar y hablar por el micrófono integrado si lo necesito. Para ser una cámara compacta y económica, ofrece funciones que normalmente solo veo en modelos más caros.Estable, confiable y con buena calidad de imagen. Totalmente recomendada.

Pleasantly surprised, App could use a few extra features
Didn’t expect much going in based on the price, but they work better than expected. These can record locally, so no need for a subscription. Be sure to get a microSD card as it is sold separately. Can’t speak to the motion detection as I’m not using that function.Having had more time to use these now, one annoyance is that if you’re using local storage, the App lacks a way to save/share/export the video when you’re not on the same network as the camera. You can view it remotely via the cloud, but not export it to a file, which seems strange since the video has to be transferred through the cloud anyway.Setup is straight forward, but make sure you get the right app, there are many look-alike ones that just exist to push unnecessary subscriptions.

Amazing Quality For Price!!! Get Multiple!!!
These are amazing!!! I have three of them. I use them to watch my young cats while I’m at work all day. I have the cameras positioned over their food, water, and litter, and the others in various corners of the house. It’s been extremely handy and calming to know I can “check in” on them whenever I want. They have a night mode which is pretty cool, and a pretty wide fisheye lens. They also are ridiculously affordable for their quality!! I may get a few more to angle at any front door visitors or hiding spots my cats like in the house.The only thing I would note/recommend is that you buy an SD card with these (sold separately). This allows you to review the footage and take/save screenshots (which you likely will need to do at some point).

Only issue some times while reviewing the recording in app you find few seconds of interrupted like cutter off recording ! Not much of deal for me as I use it internally so I know what it missed !
