Great for anyone that wants to buy it; Good coverage and fats WIFI speeds
I’ve been using my TP-Link product for about a year now, and I can confidently say it has exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I set it up, the installation process was quick and straightforward — the instructions were clear, and the TP-Link app made the entire setup smooth and effortless.I currently use it upstairs to connect several of my everyday devices, especially my PC, and the performance has been fantastic. The multi-device connectivity is strong and consistent, with no lagging or dropouts even when multiple devices are streaming or online at the same time. I’ve noticed a major improvement in Wi-Fi coverage and speed, especially in areas of my home that used to have weaker signals. The TP-Link app is another big plus — it’s very user-friendly and allows me to monitor and manage my network easily, from checking connection strength to adjusting settings with just a few taps. It’s clear that TP-Link put a lot of thought into both the design and functionality of this product. After a full year of daily use, it still works just as well as the day I bought it. The build quality feels premium and durable, and it’s been completely reliable with zero issues so far. Overall, I’m extremely happy with my purchase. TP-Link has truly created a product that combines performance, reliability, and smart design. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking to improve their home Wi-Fi network!

    Wifi Extender Really Delivered!
I bought the TP-Link AC1200 WiFi Extender because my router is in the basement and I needed reliable WiFi out in my detached pole barn — and this extender absolutely delivered. Setup was quick and simple, and within minutes I had a strong, stable signal reaching all the way outside. The dual-band connection makes a noticeable difference, and the speeds are much better than I expected for the distance. It’s no surprise this made the 2025 Wirecutter Best WiFi Extender list — it works incredibly well. If you have dead zones or a building outside your home that needs coverage, this is a fantastic, affordable solution.

Works as signal booster, simple setup
Using device as a signal booster. Works well, now have 5 bars instead of 1. Does not improve isp connection, just connection to the wifi router in the house. Easy setup with phone app.

So much better – and easy to connect
If you need a better signal in the back bedroom or workshop – grab this gizmo. Our primary bedroom is about 35-40 feet away from our router / access point. The signal is weak, so we’ve been using the TP Link booster we bought in 2021. The booster improved the signal a tiny bit, but my wife connection was always weak, sometimes it just didn’t work. With the new model – WOW!! Strong Signal in the entire apartment, and in the back bathroom for tunes in the shower. We’re always connected, the signal is strong, and it’s great for our space. Highly recommend for a strong signal 40 feet away from your access point. You’ll need to get the Tether App and set up an account. I would say it took about 10 minutes to go through the whole download, set up, connect and enable process. I found it easy and to do, used my account that I had set up 4 years ago. I don’t imagine using the app interface again, unless I change the PW on my router. We are using this device in South America, so the power is 220V and it works like a charm.I’m sure there’s bigger, faster, pricier models out there, but for our space, this guy is a winner.

    Wireless dead spots no more!!!
If you have an xfinity gateway, this works. I tried a google mesh, xfinity extender, other gadgets galore and this little cheap doo hickey worked better than all of them. It took five minutes to set up. My gateway is recessed in a media center upstairs so the wireless signal in the front of the home was just ok. Now, full strength and wifi lights outside are happy! A really high quality effective wifi extender solution at a beyond reasonable price.

Perfect and simple setup with TP-Link Router
I needed an extender that was able to reach another suite in the strip mall that I rent for my business. The 2nd suite I just acquired is on the other end of an L shaped building so I now have both ends of the “L”. My signal is at a minimum of 4 out of 5 strength in every spot of both buildings where as before I could not get a signal at all in the 2nd suite.I tried two other extenders that ended up being exactly the same but with different Chinese alphabet soup names. Both of them ended up knocking out the wifi on my router completely to the point where I had to reset the router to get any wifi available at all. My router is a TP-Link so ended up purchasing this one and sure enough it worked like a charm within a minute or two of simple setup.

Great product; price is equal to its quality
I gave it 4 stars bc the majority of the promised features for this extender are fully functional & just as described save for one: the amount of area the extender can reach. Now bear in mind that MANY obstacles can & will alter this type of device’s ability so I hardly hold any manufacturer responsible for not being able to overcome my particular obstacles and whatnot. I did my best with the VERY handy signal tester included in their app (absolutely brilliant, gold star to whomever included that n2m at no extra charge) but still havent seen more than additional 10ft or so (absolutely nothing beyond my apt walls but I suspect thats a structure issue) to find the best position for both devices. Its in the dead center of my 875 sq.ft. ‘quaint’ apartment and only 5ft away from the source router (it is notable that it is a basic model T-Mobile Hotspot i.e. not very powerful to begin with including its range hence the purchase of this wonderful device) so their placement isnt the issue. But in the end bottom line absolutely is a great quality for the price and a wonderful buy especially if you’re on a budget like most of the world.

Setting up the extender is a breeze, and the reception has improved notably. I really like the one-mesh technology, eliminating the need to change networks at home.

After installing a brand new TP-Link AXE75 (AX5400) WiFi 6E wireless router, I will still getting weak spots in the some rooms. I was hoping this would fix the issues with my Linksys Atlas mesh wireless network, which had good range but devices kept binding to a weaker node and wasn’t switching nodes seamlessly. After doing some research, I bought this TP-Link RE315 Range Extender because it could work with my router using TP-Link’s OneMesh/EasyMesh system. I was a bit skeptical given my bad experience with the Linksys mesh system. Setup was incredibly simple, I plugged the RE315 into a power outlet that was more central in my home, on a different floor from router. Pressed the WPS buttons on both the router and range extender and after a couple of minutes, they paired and the RE315 extended my 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. Using my router’s web interface, I could see the RE315 as a “Mesh device”.To test, I used my Pixel 6 and the WiFi Analyzer app on 5GHz network. With this phone on my previous Linksys Atlas mesh, it would bind to a node but wouldn’t switch to the stronger node, even if I was 1 ft away from it. I had to turn off WiFi and turn it back on before it bound to nearest node. With my TP-Link EasyMesh setup, I could see my Pixel 6 was connected to the AXE75 router. As a moved downstairs and was a few feet away from RE315, I saw the connection switch to the range extender. It was completely seamless and I didn’t lose the WiFi network, it just switched. With WiFi Analyzer, I could tell which network device I was connected to based on Mac address and IP. Onto an Internet speed test. Connected upstairs to AXE75, I was getting 600 Mbps down, 300 Mbps up on and 1Gbps Internet. Connected to the RE315, I was only getting 90 Mbps down, 60 Mbps up, which seems slow but I was expecting that with range extender as half the bandwidth is connecting to the main router, while other half is for clients. This is also a WiFi 5 AC1200 ranger extender, compared to my WiFi 6E AX router. So I was pleased with this performance since the area I was getting the dead spots in, I was now seeing full strength with good speeds, which is much better than dropped connections I was getting not using the range extender, or with my previous Linksys Atlas mesh.
