It does the job
Original 10/10/25: I’m writing this right after installing the lock, so I don’t know how it’ll hold up, but the install was easy enough and the lock appears to be mechanically sound. The issues I have are on the software side.First, the Android app is no longer available in the Play Store (the Play Protect labeled it as a spyware), so unless you have an iPhone to fall back on you won’t be able to use any of the programmable functions. Second, connecting the lock to Wi-Fi is an exercise in futility. My suggestion would be to find a more reputable alternative.Update 10/13/2025: After contacting Teeho asking about the missing Android app I received a reply that the app is now re-published and available again. The connection to Wi-Fi also worked smoothly this time.

MAJOR IMPROVEMENT on the TEEHO TE012W WiFi Smart Lock! You really nailed it!
Excellent product! I have an older version of this same lock, but these new enhancements are TOP NOTCH! Old one did not have software and was a pain to program, this new version resolves all those issues with software that allows for easy setup and management. I already have plans to install at my Daughter’s home as well.

Perfect lock
Super easy to install. Fingerprint feature is wonderful for kiddos to get in independently. I also love having the app feature to lock and unlock from anywhere and receive notifications when the door is locked or unlocked.

Easy WiFi Amazon voice assistance connectivity. No hub needed.
LOVED IT!! VERY easy and quick to install, no hub /wifi extension needed… WiFi super fast to connect and easy link to amazon voice. I gave it a 4 review just case the inside cover material looks a little cheap, (plastic). But rather that than struggle with the WiFi connection, like I did with other more expensive products I tried prior, like shlage locks.. Highly recommended.

Switched to this. Cheaper and functional
Bought this to replace another co lock. Probably not right to put them down but it’s one of the vowel starting locks. That lock is nothing but painful. To connect to WiFi or Bluetooth and constant issues with jams or dead batteries because it depleted it fast or loss of connectivity or it just dies in middle of op stranding you etc.This is like 1/3rd the cost and has a fingerprint reader as well. Best feature imo. And it connected and setup in 10m without any issue. WiFi seems stable enough presently and it was easy to add fingerprint as well. Just have to make sure WiFi signal is strong.On con side there’s 2 main ones : take 8 batteries instead of 4 AA and at times you get a brief “abnormal state” and immediate ok.You can control it remotely and add more PIN codes and temp codes and lock with pressing any button for 2s. It’s all very nice. Outside material is strong but inside a more plastic feel. Not too bad but it’s also cheaper.Alexa integration was easy but the routines don’t work in Alexa. Not sure why. Wife likes alert when it is unlocked. Anyway.The app “KK Home” is 120MB and developer seems to be Chinese co but it worked well for me. No complaints. Maybe support might be tough.Overall glad I got this. After a week I got another and will buy 2 more after that and replace all.

Solid quality hardware
Was easy to set up, came with everything needed to install, used a different app to program since there’s was blocked from installing by my antivirus/malware software. Wi-Fi needs to be nearby to make a connection, finger print reader is fast.

Seems to be a very good value.
So far so good. Replaced a different brand – similar model after the circut board on it failed. This had been flawless since Ihave installed about 2 months ago.

Not a good buy!!!! Beware!!!
This piece of crap gave out on me in less than a month. It’s even gotten stuck and locked me out the house several times. At first it was nice to have and after about 2 weeks I started noticing a few issues but I thought it was my old door. New door in and lock installed on it and it’s still not functioning properly. I really hate I missed my return window I would have sent this back but it crapes out after return window ended. Lock quality is not good at all. Constantly getting jammed up and the application to it was nice at first then I started noticing inconsistencies with it telling me my door is unlit when it was locked and vice versa. What a waste of money.
