Very high quality SSD, would reccomend!
This Portable SSD made by the SSK brand has been a huge help in my website developing business. The high speed aspect of the SSD allows me to quickly write and read for quick transfers. I accidently dropped the SSD, but there was no scuffs or dents because of the high durability. Since this is an SSD, it makes no noise, which makes it a lot better for silent working. This SSD was plug and play, and worked straight away, with its 1TB storage size, It should last me a long time.

Compact and Fast Data Transfer
Overall, this is a great SSD with ample space for the price. I would definitely recommend this for someone looking for an external portable HD that has a large amount of space which is great for holding any type of file. My main use for this HD was to hold music files I am transferring from an older HDD hard drive. Please see my list of pros and cons below.Pros:- Item is well constructed and has a quality feel to it.- Item is compact and has a key ring attachment making it easy for transportation.- Data transfer speeds are fast, making it easier to transfer larger files or a larger number of files at once.- Good price for a quality drive with ample space.Cons: I honestly don’t have any cons at this time. The only possible con is that from what I believe, you can only format this drive as exfat and not ntfs.

I was searching for an external drive to store the videos and pictures from my iPhone. Transferring them from my phone to an external hard drive using my laptop was too slow and kept crashing, so I found this one. After reading the reviews, I decided to give the external ssd a try. It’s small and easy to carry with you without the bulkiness.The best external ssd I have purchased so far that works well with my iPhone 15 Pro Max, providing fast video and photos transfer with no issues. I will definitely keep an eye on it for a price drop and buy another one.

Hard drive that works with phone instantly
This is the first time I used a hard drive with my smartphone. Installation was easy, I simply contacted the USB-C cable that the hard drive comes with to my phone and my phone couse see it immediately. I was able to easily move files from my phone to the hard drive. It transfered the files pretty quick. I had no data loss and am happy with the drive. It makes no noise. I did not need to format the drive, however it can be easily formatted to fat32 or NTFS and other formats as well. I feel it was affordable and delivered in reasonable time period.

I can’t say it good things about this thing it’s tiny. It’s got a little hoop on it to hang it on something. It’s plug-in. Play large capacity good price doesn’t get hot. It’s really a good performer fast transfer. I will buy another one of these highly recommend.

Works well until it doesn’t
Works well until it doesn’t. Very small and decently fast data transfer rates. Purchased july 2024 and as of sept 2025 this ssd no longer works. This was used as a backup once per month, always ejected safely and stored in a desk. It now connects for a few seconds before ejecting itself. I’m unable to access the backed up data or run any disk repair on the ssd. The SSK site claims a 3 year warranty on SSD’s, which after shipping back to them they sent a brand new ssd and paid for shipping. Hopefully this new one lasts longer…
