how to tighten the ball joints
Did you read all those 1-star reviews saying the ball ends are too weak to hold anything, or that the swivel joint makes it dangerous to mount expensive gear on?Read this first because I almost threw mine in the trash for the exact same reason, but so glad I figured it out!It’s not intuitive at all, but here’s what I learned:1. Attach your gear to the end first, BEFORE connecting the arm to your tripod.2. Tighten the main swivel in the middle just enough so the arm feels stiff but still movable. It should be able to “hold position” without flopping.3. If your ball ends are still spinning or drooping, here’s the trick: TIGHTEN the main swivel. THEN grab the clamp (because it’s what the ball end is attached to) and twist it: righty-righty. It will actually tighten the ball joint itself. And you’ll feel it doing it. Now grab the other end – the camera or SSD card or whatever – grab that – then again turn righty-tighty and you’ll tighten the other ball joint.4. Once both ball ends are secure, loosen the center knob slightly so you can make small positioning adjustments.5. Now attach the clamp to your tripod.6. Now you’re going to make final adjustments to make it perfect. So turn the center swivel lefty-loosey SLOWLY—don’t loosen it all the way or everything will collapse and it’ll be very frustrating.7. Once you finalize its placement – tighten the main swivel and you’re done!This isn’t a product flaw—like any good tool, you just have to know how to use it. Hopefully this helps someone.

I bought one of these because I love magsafe, and how it makes it so that I don’t have to remove my case to mount my phone. It has changed my ability to create content quickly. So much that I added (2) more to my setup, so I have 3 angles from various phones. They are extremely adjustable, their mounts are stable, the size is good (could be a little longer, but it works) and I haven’t had any issues with compatibility or weight.

Arrived in Excellent Condition and Well Packaged
I received the item as expected and in excellent condition. I haven’t fully tested it yet, only unpacked and tried it briefly, and everything appears to be as described.I also appreciate that the packaging uses cardboard and paper instead of the usual gray foam, it feels more environmentally friendly and responsible.I’ll update my review if I encounter any issues after further use.

The Camera Clamp that does it all!
Its almost like a multi-tool camera mount. I’ve used it for so many things, like mounting it to my monitor, using it for pov camera shots and much more. I highly recommend this camera clamp. Its able to be twisted and turned almost any direction when unlocked (allowing to fold it for easy storage) and when it is locked it doesn’t budge one bit.

Worry Free Action Cam Mount
Purchased this for mounting 2nd cam for my motovlogs. Left handlebar has aux switch for my fog lights and right handlebar has limited space because of the master cylinder. Fits perfectly! Love the fact that it’s still fully adjustable despite its awkward placement on my bike. Once tightened down it doesn’t budge even after hours of riding. Great job Smallrig!

Good quality and sturdy.
Compact and sturdy. Connects directly to 1/4″, female threaded device.There’s one knob to adjust the arms and the end ball sockets. Note that this releases and tightens both ends and the center joints at the same time. The canter joint is toothed. The downside is that you have to unscrew the knob farther to get past the teeth. The upside is that this sucker doesn’t slip by accident.The clamp is sturdy and secure. Holds firmly on every surface I’ve tried it on. The knob on the clamp is a silver, metal, sliding type (like on a bench vice) instead of a solid, black, winged knob. It depends on personal preference if this is a plus or minus (your call).I have it holding my 10″ tablet attached to an old set of metal shelves with only a little vibration when I tap on it.I highly recommend this item.

Sono piccole cose che denotano una grandissima attenzione ad ogni minimo dettaglio nella progettazione e realizzazione del prodotto e che io apprezzo moltissimo!Il Magic Arm è solidissimo, preciso al millimetro e grazie al Super Clamp, il morsetto che lo tiene e che grazie al suo design eccezionale è capace di reggersi sia su bordi squadrati che tondi come stativi o barre.Alle due estremità troviamo viti da 1/4 di pollice che sono ormai lo standard non solo nel settore fotografico e grazie al disco possiamo stringere ulteriormente la presa e assicurare che l’oggetto avvitato non si possa muovere.La chiusura a farfalla che troviamo al centro del braccio ci permette di fissare il tutto una volta trovata la configurazione che si vuole, potendo quindi con una mano regolare il tutto. Geniale!Incluso troviamo un ottimo supporto per smartphone, utile per videochiamate o riprese fisse o a lunga esposizione, o per girare video professionali usando il proprio smartphone. Da notare il doppio attacco a vite che ci permette di posizionarlo sia in orizzontale che verticale.Che dire, un accessorio che non solo per chi fa foto o video di professione può essere non utile ma necessario! Io lo utilizzo praticamente con tutto, anche con lampade e faretti per creare la giusta luce o in caso di emergenza e ogni volta le persone restano sbalordite dalla versatilità e qualità di questo braccio magico!Come sempre SMALLRIG fa un capolavoro!
