Decent lights with issues to consider
I feel like many previous reviews cover the positive traits of these lights (brightness, color options, etc.), so I wanted to point out a few things I discovered that are worth considering. The biggest issue is that these lights come in two rolls that connect to the power source through a single splitter. The light strands do not connect end-to-end, as there is no connector for that. To get the full 104 ft length, you’ll need to have one strand running one direction from the plug and the other running the opposite direction, with the power source and splitter positioned in the center.A few other things I noticed have to do with hanging the lights. These lights include some hanging clips that are not mentioned in the instructions. I’m attaching the lights to a rough surface, so the adhesive strip alone won’t work for me. The clips have sticky pads as well as a hole and included screws for more secure hanging. The issue is that the sticky tape is on the wrong side of the clip. For the light strand to fit properly inside the clip with the tape against the wall, the lighted side of the strand would also be facing the wall. You can make it work by turning the strand around and, but the lighted side of the strand is rounded and doesn’t fit as securely in the clip as the tape side does.Finally, be careful when peeling the blue film from the tape. It’s a very thin layer that’s difficult to separate from the actual adhesive, so it’s easy to accidentally pull off both the film and the tape strip.

Super Bright
These lights are undeniably cool. They are super bright, and they have endless color combos, which I love. They are flexible, so you can hang them just about anywhere you want. The adhesive isn’t the best, and it’s not the easiest to work with, but it gets the job done.You use the SmartLife app to control them. The app is easy to use and connects easily. The only real downside to the app is all the permissions it requires when you download the app for iPhone. I suggest checking that out before purchase to make sure you’re okay with it.This does come with 2 spools of lights, but they both work of off of one power source, so you can’t use them separately. The lights are durable, but the jury is still out on the adhesive. Thankfully adhesive is an easy fix if it becomes an issue.If you are looking for good quality light strips that are super bright, easy to use and function without issue, then these are an excellent choice.
