Worked for what I needed it to do, no issues and decent quality. You pay a bit of a premium buying it off Amazon other than aliexpress or temu, it the same generic cable you see with different brand names on it. Didnt test at 4k. Quality is good, i used it to add an additional lcd screen to my pc.***UPDATE*** CABLE IN STARTING TO GET VERY VERY HOT AFTER LESS THAN 2 MONTHS OF USE. WILL BE CONTACTING SELLER FOR A REPLACEMENT. I AM GETTING TEMPS 105°-110° ON HDMI PORTION OF CABLE ONLY. TROUBLESHOOTED WITH OTHER SCREENS AND CABLES AND HAVE DETERMINED IT IS NOT MY MOBO OR DEVICES, THE CABLE IS GOING OUT.

Definitely works well. Just a note with older computers that certain USB might not provide enough power to run a monitor or other device. Would recommend for sure.

DANGEROUS OVERHEATING!
Updated Review: This cable d*mn near burned my house down. It worked fine for the first couple of weeks that I had it. I used it to connect my desktop PC to a portable monitor. The monitor has it’s own separate power cable, so it’s not like I was trying to power the entire thing with just this cable. A couple of days ago, I was using my PC when the monitor just lost connection. I thought maybe the cable had come loose or I was having some other PC issue. I couldn’t get the monitor to reconnect, though, so I tried another monitor (with a different cable) and it worked immediately. On the desktop, though, was an error message I had never seen before about one of my USB ports having a power surge. This immediately made me think of this cable. When I went to unplug the cable from my PC, I actually burned the tips of my fingers. The plug itself was RIDICULOUSLY and DANGEROUSLY hot. I could smell the odor of fried electronics coming from it. I immediately ripped it out of my GPU socket and began to pray that it hadn’t destroyed my GPU. Thankfully, it had not.This is the second HDMI to USB C cable I have tried. Both cables had an additional USB plug for powering the signal. Both of them have died due to overheating issues. The other cable I tried at least had several comments about it getting hot—I should have believed them. This cable had none of those warnings, so I thought I would give it a try. Apparently, the electronics inside are just as bad. If you try this plug, do yourself a favor and check it DAILY for overheating. I will not trust another HDMI to USB C cable after this one.I wish I could still return it.

No major issues; type-c is somehow unidirectional though.
I’ve been using this to connect my tablet to a projector for game nights, and it has worked out well so far.The length is pretty handy for situating things over my shoulder where I can’t knock things over, and it’s holding up well despite being coiled up and tucked away twice a week for the past couple months.The one weird quirk I’ve discovered, the tablet refuses to connect if the type-c is ‘backwards??’ I didn’t think this was an issue with type-c until now, but I have had to clearly mark one side of the plug so I know when it’s facing the correct way.Aside from the minor inconvenience of the one-way type-c plug, it’s worked well for me. I’m only running at 1080p, but it looks clean and clear. Overall not bad at all; worth using in my opinion.

Great Buy!
This was exactly what I ordered. It did not work for what I ordered it for, but that was my own fault. The product itself met all criteria. One end of the cord is the HDMI and the other end splices into two, giving the C port and the other is the USB. Great quality! The cord itself is very high end and the ports are well attached and high quality as well.

Has more limited use than I was expecting
I ordered this to try to connect my phone to the TV to display my screen there. I ordered it based on the image and “HDMI to USB C Cable Adapter” but in the descriptions it specifically says it is not for laptops and phones. It is specifically for AR glasses and Xbox / PS 4/5 to display monitors. Note that it will not charge a device. Though it does not work for what I purchased it for, it seems like it would work for the devices it was created for.
