Razer Anzu Smart Glasses – A Spectacular Blend of Style and Technology!
I recently got my hands on the Razer Anzu Smart Glasses, and I must say, I’m absolutely thrilled with this cutting-edge piece of eyewear for its prize point. These smart glasses have seamlessly combined style and technology in a way that has exceeded my expectations.First and foremost, let’s talk about the design. The Razer Anzu glasses strike a perfect balance between a sleek, modern aesthetic and a comfortable fit. The frames are lightweight and stylish, making them suitable for both casual wear and more formal occasions. The choice of frame styles and lens options ensures that there’s a perfect pair for everyone’s taste. I got the rectangular design. I love how they look and feel on my face. Now, let’s dive into the smart features. The built-in speakers are an absolute game-changer. They provide crisp and clear audio without the need for any earbuds or headphones. Whether I’m taking calls, listening to music, or following GPS directions while driving or walking, the audio quality has been consistently impressive. I appreciate the open-ear design that allows me to stay aware of my surroundings, making them perfect for outdoor activities. The Razer Anzu’s integrated touch controls on the frames are intuitive and convenient. Adjusting the volume, pausing or skipping tracks, and answering calls can all be done with simple gestures, eliminating the need to fumble with my smartphone. The inclusion of Bluetooth connectivity ensures a seamless pairing experience with my devices.I was pleasantly surprised by the battery life of these smart glasses. With moderate usage, I can easily go for a day or more without needing to recharge. The charging process is quick and hassle-free, so I never have to worry about being caught with a dead battery.Another standout feature is the blue light filtering and UV protection provided by the lenses. As someone who spends long hours in front of screens, this feature has made a noticeable difference in reducing eye strain and fatigue.Durability and build quality are also top-notch. The glasses feel sturdy and well-made, which is crucial for an accessory I wear daily. In summary, the Razer Anzu Smart Glasses have won me over with their style, comfort, and impressive technology. They seamlessly integrate into my daily life, adding convenience and style while enhancing my overall audio experience. If you’re looking for smart glasses that are as fashionable as they are functional, I wholeheartedly recommend giving the Razer Anzu Smart Glasses a try. They’ve certainly left me thoroughly satisfied and impressed!

The “smart” in smart glasses
I was not truly in the market for smart glasses. Afterall, I did not know of a use for them. They almost seemed gimmicky to me. It wasn’t until I came across these Razer smart glasses on sale, did I decide to purchase them. For reference that price at the time was $59.99, which seemed like a more expensive pair of sunglasses to me.First thing first, is that the unboxing experience was really nice with cool packaging. I like that there are blue light filtering lenses and sunglass lenses. The pouch to hold the glasses is nice as well. I have no issue with the included items, and they all are of high quality. The glasses themselves work as advertised. I personally use these at my desk for work as I spend a great amount of time in front of a computer screen. I found them comfortable enough and the Bluetooth link allows me to listen to music while I am working. The sound is not going to replace any earbuds, but the setup does allow you to hear other sounds around you, and as I send is good for lite listening of music and podcast. The only thing I am not fond of is the charging cables because you have to connect them to each arm separately. This means you have to be careful when setting the glasses down that you do not disconnect one of the cords. Otherwise, I am pleasantly surprised and recommend these smart glasses as long as you find them as a good price.

Great Smart Glasses, however…
First off, I am going to say the Razer Anzu smart glasses are not Augmented-Reality (AR) glasses, so they have no overlays or anything in the lenses. Although, they do offer good sound quality for listening to music while talking with family/friends in-person, making phone calls with an iPhone (Motorola Edge; Android 10 work great) and while playing a game with a system that has an on/off Bluetooth option in the settings. My PC does not have a USB for Bluetooth, so I have no feedback for that. Anyways, here’s my breakdown…Pros:Good sound quality in quiet environments (at three notches of volume, no one near me can hear what I am listening to.)Excellent battery life. My pair lasted anywhere from 5-7 hours on a single charge and fully charged in 1.5 hours or less; usually 45 minutes at half charge (50%) to fully charge the glasses.Great volume, even though you have to use your other devices, i.e. iPhone/PC/etc. to increase or decrease the volume as the glasses themselves do not offer volume control.Good touch-inputs on either side of the legs of the glasses after the bump closest to the lenses (where touch input is located), I have to usually hold my finger on the spot next to the bump for about half a second to a second for it to register as a tap. Holding for a few seconds can bring up an iPhone’s assistant so you can ask “what’s the weather today”, play music you choose, or to call someone in your contacts, and so forth.Cons:The legs are easy to break if you are not careful. **Do NOT bend them up or down** They are only meant to be folded in or out (to turn off or on the smart glasses, respectively). The leg(s) can still be charged and used but you will most likely need to tape the leg(s) back on. Both legs must be folded to fully turn off or on the glasses.–Overall, these are a good pair of niche audio-glasses for music, gaming, phone calls, and podcasts if you are looking for something relatively cheap. 44$ is a good and affordable price, but the legs could be made more durable at the bend. I would buy again.

Excellent sound quality but bit on the heavy side for long hours of usage.

The glasses are amazing. You can wear them anywhere and not worry about headphones anymore. You can wear them at work, hike or anywhere outdoors and be aware of your surroundings and not worry about filling up your ears with earphones. They sound absolutely fantastic and the touch feature is a blessing. Only thing I wish I could have had with these was a hard case, as the case you get is v soft and the frames are very sensitive. One of the two legs actually got out of angle for me, but I was still panickingly able to put them back in place. And another tip for y’all would be that the large ones are REALLY large! I’ve got a round face so usually I only go with big ones but these were mega large.
