Great quality, Easy installation, NO HUB REQUIRED!
I purchased the first lock for my side door. Loved it so much I purchased another. I think the App is fine, it could use a few more features compared to Schlage, but so far so good!

    So far five stars
This is for delivery and install ONLY. I cannot give a reasonable evaluation on it’s everyday use.Well packed and install was quick and easy. Excellent video to follow if needed. Appears well made. Uses 8 batteries so should hold up to my AZ heat – but again that is a later evaluation. This replaces a Eufy unit that was less than a year old. Not a good unit.

Works great but use alkaline batteries
I bought the Philips Wi-Fi smart lock in March, and within a month it stopped working, which was frustrating. For some reason, I didn’t get a replacement and instead bought another push-pad lock. Later, I decided to try putting alkaline batteries in the Philips lock—and it started working again with all my codes still programmed! So, if it stops working, it’s most likely because you’re not using alkaline batteries. I feel like that should be stated more clearly in the directions. Other than that, it was very easy to install on my apartment door and simple to set up with codes.

    Easy set up and installation
I have only had this installed for about a week and so far I really like it. It was not only easy to program on my phone (which is saying something since I am not very tech savvy) but it was also a smooth process installing. The only thing that tripped us up was that we didn’t reset it after the initial install but after we did that it was easy peesy. And we liked it so much we bought another one.

    Big YES here…
VERY happy with this purchase. Easy install, item works perfectly, very reasonably priced. This one is a winner in my books. If I _absolutely_ had to pick something to complain about it would be the 8 AA cells it takes, but thats a non-issue the way I see it… I’d gladly recommend this one!

    Bad quality
Installed for just two weeks and it already stopped working. Pretty disappointing, especially for the price. And of course, now it’s past the return window, I’ll have to buy a new one — definitely not the same again.

App connection fails repeatedly, customer support helpful
Update: I’ve talked to Philips customer support and they have provided a refund for the lock. They have been very responsive, so I added 2 stars for their support team. This smart lock has all the features I wanted without the steep price tag. Unfortunately, after two replacements I cannot get it to connect to the app. I’m very tech savvy, I’ve read the manual, watched all the videos and talked to support without any resolution. I’ve replace the batteries, soft reset, hard reset — all the things. My WiFi is strong and I have other devices on my network without a problem.I’m now frustrated because I’ve asked for a refund and they keep wanting to send me another replacement.
