Works, but not as good as expected.
We own 3 fairly good quality (minus the unprofessional looking design) tabletop Owl devices. We had a need for somewhat of a bigger room, but didn’t want to spend $30K+ for a Creston setup. Felt like this would be a good fit for an 18′ x 20′ room, but it’s not. Camera tracking basically doesn’t work, sound quality is nothing near as good as the tabletop model, both in pickup and output. Very lacking in sound. Would love to return it and try something better, maybe even the Logitech one.

Mediocre quality and if using with Owl meeting, must be no father than 8′
I spent 2 days trying to figure out why my Owl Meeting bar and Owl Meeting desktop device would not link up. We have a 15′ conference table and that is 4′ from the wall. But is the Owl is even an INCH farther than 8′ from the Owl Meeting Bar, they will not link up to do the function we bought them for.Returned both, Owl and Owl Bar (And the 3 year warranties)Quality was also, just So So. Very expensive and would have kept them if there wasn’t an 8′ barrier to operate both.

The HDMI ports on the bar are not operational
Purchased the Owl Bar based upon the fact that it has two HDMI outputs and one input. Also purchased two big screen LCD TV’s expecting it to all work together with the Owl Bar, however could not get the HDMI ports working… After calling the manufacturer Owl Labs support, was told that they are for “future functionality” and are not operational. Believe this should be disclosed on the listing as it is very misleading and would not have purchased the unit had I known.

Not really intended to use without owl standalone
The camera is not great for this price. It is blurry. It is my understanding that it is intended to be used with the standalone Owl. If you plan to purchase just one, buy the other unit (Owl 3?). You cannot connect wirelessly for video conferences; this is an issue since it is located under the large screen. The options on the app are minimal. Tilting the camera up or down is not available. We also do not have sound on the bar. I will be getting a technical pro soon to figure out how to use this, but would have been nice if it was. I emailed Owl through their customer service on the website several days ago, but I am still waiting to hear back.

Terrible Product
If you have an Owl Lab, this product is not needed. Owl advertises that it would make your meetings even better. This is incorrect. If you want to use both products, you need to have them 4-8 feet apart to pair. The camera on this Owl bar is very low quality, and there is no point in this product.

Not worth it
Switched to this from another Owl product hoping for better sound quality and volume. Turns out that there is only speakers on one side, not on both sides as you would assume due to the design. Also, Owl Support told me that their software update made the volume lower on all of their products to help with microphone.Overall, not impressed for the price and misleading marketing. Would not buy anymore products from this overpriced company.

Fraudulent AV Equipment
Both this site and the Owl Labs website refrain from letting the consumer know that the throw distance of the video is only 8 feet. This is not applicable in a medium conference room. Only small spaces. You would need to move the table all the way to the wall for consumers to be seen at the head of the table. DO NOT BUY.
