Power hooks up directly to the car battery.
Works great in locating and tracking my car. Like that it hooks up to the car battery and you don’t have to take it out all the time to charge up. Couldn’t find out how water resistance it is. Would think it is if you can’t put it under the hood. Mine is somewhat exposed at the top of the hood.

GPS tracker plugs into vehicle and works great
This is a great tracker, since it is a plug in and is on when the vehicle is on. Downloading the APP and getting it going is mildly tedious, and I subscribed for a 2-year plan. I tested it by driving around and it is very accurate, and it gives you the option of using google earth map. I highly recommend, but remember, it does require a subscription, which is relatively cheap for the performance you get.

Device replaced
Easy to install, had to download the app and needed to subscribe, chose one year subscription and within a week device stopped working. Contacted the customer support who confirmed the device was not functioning anymore and asked for home address so they can send a replacement device which I have just received., will see how it goes.
