This is the V2 and newer version of the modemem
Works great. There are 2 listings for this item that look identical. The first time I ordered this I used a different listing of it that had ever so slightly higher ratings. I later found out that there is a V1 and V2 of this modem. This listing is for the newer and updated V2 and I’m glad I went with this one this time. Both work great, excellent modem

The modem is easy to install and hook up was a breeze.

Was a decent modem, when it worked, stopped working just right after the warranty period.
Should have known better than to buy refurbished. Came with a 90 day warranty (REALLY?! 90 days is all?) and it broke about 120 days after purchasing it.It was faster than my older DOCSIS 3.0 Arris modem, when it was working, but it started getting less and less stable over time. Went from disconnects from being an odd, rare thing, to this last two week of having it, it’s disconnecting every day, it’s rebooting itself every day. Not a great experience overall.Modem gets pretty hot too, too hot for what a modem should get. Airflow of the modem could be better, a small fan should be considered for future models, cause this one literally gets hot to the touch. Maybe I just got a bad one, it happens, but the 90 warranty came back to bite my in the butt, because this thing made it 1 month longer than the warranty, so I’m out some cash, out multiple days of work since I work from home and this thing has been struggling to keep a consistent connection and the last few days isn’t connecting at all.I know it’s this Netgear modem and not my internet provider, because when I plugged my old Arris modem in, it still runs like a champion after 12 years.

Great Value if you already have WiFi mesh system
Great Deal for the money! Spectrum stoped working ona a Sunday with no prior notice that their Modem requirements were now DOCSIS 3.1 instead of DOCSIS 3.0.I have had great result with Netgear 6e WiFi mesh so very confident in their products. This was no exception

Solid connection.
We were having a lot of issues with our outdated modem that we use with Xfinity cable internet in the Philly region and this modem solved those issues. No more connection issues and it’s also much faster than our old one.

Only had it for a few days and it’s worked so well! Super easy 5 minute set up, it came nice and clean, no scratches etc. 🙂
