Great quality and appropriate price
Very good TV for the price. Has great features and very good picture quality. The remote takes a minute to get use to but is easier for inputting passwords. You can also do QR code for passwords. Its a great upgrade for the price. They also have newer models with more features and better quality but this TV is great for the price. 5 star is based on quality, ease of use, and features. If it is based on best TV vs worst TV I would give it a 3.9. But once again based on BEST TV VS worst TV. Even in that case 3.9 stars would be a great rating.

This is one awesome TV at 50 inch with options that are incredible
So for the price, this TV is phenomenal. 50 inch TV using it in my bedroom replacing a 15-year-old Samsung LCD TV and the picture is legitimate that the night and day difference. Yes the Samsung was only 1080 he and 15 years old it probably was top of the league and it’s technology but now this LG for the price has 75% more features with 4K can stream for days wireless for days every channel looks super detailed, super clean and clear and bright. The options go for days for different video and audio is insane. The remote control easy to use. You can even use your phone to control the TV. You can pair your phone to your TV mirror it I mean it goes on for days and days of things that this thing can do and at this price point it’s ridiculous. Shipping a TV via Amazon was a little bit on the fence, didn’t really know how that was gonna happen. They have their own separate Amazon delivery utility vehicle that does their bigger deliveries. They brought it straight to my doorstep. It was effortless just walked it in myself, and the rest is history. So if you’re questioning this TV or comparing it against others for the price, it’s gonna be hard to beat to be dead. Honest I have about six or seven TVs in my house all ranging between Samsung and LG and this TV pretty much beats out majority of them at this price point so that’s crazy technologies is here get on board.

No PBS streaming option!
The tv has a nice picture and sound, with a lot of customization options, including turning off some of the automatic advertising. It was very slow at first, but seemed to improve as I went through the setup process. The home screen is very busy – I like a cleaner interface and will tidy as much as I can. I don’t much like the remote – needs a mute button and smoother movement. The button for volume and channel change is oddly hard to push. I did buy the two pack of extra remotes for about $ 8 and found they worked as soon as I put in batteries, and they do have a mute button, but almost too many tiny buttons that are harder to see. The one thing I really dislike is that there is no way to add the PBS streaming app unless you add an external ROKU or Amazon device. For me, the whole point of the enhanced picture is to enjoy PBS nature programs and travelogs, LG has got to fix this!

Excellent value overall!
So far we love it! Pictures and sound quality are very good. Only negative is that it only has two HDMI ports. Necessitates removing one when we Wii bowl.

New winner of the worst remote ever contest!
My experience with tvs has generally been with only the 3 or 4 major brands and tends towards ones with better rated picture quality depending on the room its for. I do have other LG tvs. This one was purchased for a room where it is not used as often. Overall, I am disappointed with this tv despite the fairly good picture quality.Cons:- The remote has to be the absolute worst I have experienced in decades! I can’t imagine anyone not being annoyed with its lack of one or more critical buttons. Perhaps not the same ones as I. The most missed are an input button, rewind, and mute (seriously long press on vol down is just annoying). And why bother drilling around to find the setup to use the remote for other attached devices with no rewind?- Slow. Another reviewer has noted the slow resposes to pretty much any change. Snoozzzz.- Total lack of information for how-to’s. There’s not even a hint anywhere of how to find or do anything. And anything that chatgpt or google finds is without exception for some other model AND DOESN’T APPLY! There are even prompts that are inscrutable!- So since you can’t use the remote for other devices, you might try using the other devices remote to control the tv. The only thing that will work is power and volume, which isn’t enough because of the next problem.- Remember that missing input button? Well get used to the drill down button presses cause when you turn on one of your other hdmi attached devices, most of the time it doesn’t automatically switch to that input! At first I thought it was because I forgot about it being slow, or when it wasn’t the last used hdmi input, but nope, it seems random.- Terrible stand though most every low or medium level tv these days comes with the same cheap excuse for a stand. At least this was accurately shown up front so I could buy a decent stand up front.- Unverified: I read that if you use apps from the webos that they save your passwords in the cloud so they can set up additional lg tvs for access automatically. I am really not comfortable with that if true.Pros:- Good picture.- Improved version of webos (minus the slow factor).Fortunately this tv isn’t in a situation where it gets used too much. One can only hope that they offer a compatible usable remote some day.

Excellent Choice
Staggering picture quality. This TV has surpassed all of my expectations. I love it. It is reasonably priced and is jam packed with tech on higher end models.
