slow, frustrating piece of crap
This computer is bad. It takes forever to boot up. I only play one game, a literal matching game. Even when I have no other windows open, the computer freezes when I play the game. The speakers/sound is lousy. Docs freezes constantly. It won’t save music files at all. It says it’s downloading them, but they disappear into the ether.Playing hide and seek with files is a favored past time. Sometimes it will only open the file if you tap once. Other times you must click twice. Other days it only wants to work if you use the touch screen. Sometimes it makes me close the files app, reopen, cross my fingers, say pretty please and make a sacrifice to Google Chrome in order to open my file.It does stream movies and shows without trouble…unless they are on youtube. It has a love/hate relationship with youtube.Also, google chrome won’t accept my password on this computer. It always tells me it’s wrong. No matter what. Makes me change it if I want to get in. Always. No matter what. I can change it, and then enter it immediately, and it won’t accept it.My very old, not updated for years pixel 3 phone is a faster, better computer than this laptop. I’ve upgraded from that phone twice, but it’s faster, and more capable than this laptop.If its quirks were consistent, at least I could learn them and work with it, but no, its issues come and go, and change hourly. It’s checked regularly for malware, so that’s not the problem. It’s just a lousy computer.

What?
This is the 2nd Chromebook I have bought that has lasted less than 4 months. Both have had “regular” use- no gaming, no intense battery usage. Both worked very well until suddenly they wouldn’t turn on or charge.

I have previously owned (2) Chromebook’s and love them. So when I was shopping for laptop, I didn’t really look further. The Chromebook screen is slightly larger than I hoped for. However I am happy with the functionality of the product.
