Nice Computer for a 2nd Grader
Times have changed since I was a kid and now a lot of schoolwork is being done on the computer (especially for very young kids). I wanted to find a computer that wasn’t too expensive (as my 2nd grader is still learning responsibilities and taking care of our things). This computer was exactly what I was looking for. I was worried about understanding the operating system as I am use to windows, but it was very easy to use. My son loves it and is excited that he can do some of his school games at home. It’s very sturdy and I feel it should last him long enough until he needs a computer with more features.

You can’t use it for the only thing you probably bought it for: Studying.
This is one of those devices that will not open a book and let you perform basic studying/reading functions on it, while perfectly running YT and other streaming services. I just wanted it to be a glorified adobe reader machine, can’t even do that. I am sure it runs spyware and algorithms tracking your every breath perfectly, most likely. But to be a “book”, no no no, we will not be doing that anytime soon.Do me a favor if you’re a student and just get a Think Pad or a Yoga or something. Because google is only interested in having you pay so that they can collect your information, but not even to perform the basic function for which you buy their devices.

Refurbished low cost option for my 6 year old. Works well and she loves it. Just need to know you need to inspect it out of the box and note any problems.As its refurbished the quality varies. The first one we got had a scratched screen, and the trackpad was eroded and ugly. I sent it back and requested a second one which came in much better near-new shape. So far it works.

Good for the price
It is used but for the price you can’t beat it i had low expectations but they where very quickly exceeded. Its perfect for me using it to do work training watch YouTube and listen to music no lag and the best part is i can access my photos on it and edit them if I want.

Laptop for small projects and new computer users.
This Chromebook unit was refurbished. Paid $99. There is a vinyl sheet glued to the top so I suspect the top was scratched or badly worn. The edge of the sheet is peeling.The unit did not come with a charging cord so I called Amazon and they shipped a power cord a few days later. This unit has two USB ports and one HDMI port. Also has a port for a micro disc. The key pad has a mouse touch pad but I use one USB port for a wireless mouse, The unit is working properly.Chromebooks offer a good option for school work and new users to computers. The 11.5 screen is adequate and the operating system if fine for web browsing . There are several system applications and more can be downloaded from Google Play, much like an Android phone.The Docs app can be used to write letters, The Sheets app is for spreadsheets. Also has a camera for virtual meetings.Not a good unit for gamers. Similar to using your smartphone. Connect to internet using Bluetooth or tether to your phone.

Excelente Laptop para funciones básicas, me gustó un buen, diseño bonito y batería de buena duración, en relación a la paquetería office no deja instalar los sofware, sin embargo se puede ocupar la paquetería office 360 y funciona muy bien, todos los archivos son bajo la nube. Solo si sabes trabajar asi, te funciona muy bien, altamente recomendable
