Highly Recommend
I’ve been really impressed with my Govee light bulbs. The setup was quick, the app is super easy to use, and the color options are bright and vivid. I love how smoothly they switch between scenes, and the scheduling feature has made my lighting feel way more customized.They also respond fast to voice commands and pair perfectly with my smart home setup. For the price, the quality is honestly hard to beat. If you’re looking for reliable smart bulbs with tons of features, Govee is definitely worth it.

A fantastic value upgrade from LIFX — easier to set up, good performance, and way less hassle
I picked up two 4-packs of these Govee smart bulbs during a sale to replace a set of aging LIFX bulbs I’ve been using since 2017. After eight years of syncing, grouping, and trying to get everything working just right with LIFX, I finally decided it wasn’t worth the extra cost for features I rarely used. One LIFX bulb had failed, and a couple others were getting flakey with connectivity. I wanted something simpler that still gave me color and scheduling — and Govee delivered.Setup was incredibly easy. These new bulbs were detected almost instantly when I plugged them in. A couple of taps in the app, and they were connected and even auto-integrated with Alexa. That’s a huge improvement from earlier smart bulb setups (even earlier Govee ones I own). I now have seven of the eight bulbs installed along with two Govee light strips, all grouped and running Halloween scenes on my patio. It’s been a solid setup so far.Compared to LIFX, the color control and brightness aren’t quite as dynamic. The LIFX strips, especially, had more nuanced transitions and stronger color saturation. But in practice, the difference just doesn’t matter much — especially when synced to music. After years of trying to get light/music syncing to be something magical, I’ve come to realize it’s more of a gimmick than a feature. Govee still delivers good color scenes and effects, and unless you’re obsessive about subtle hue shifts, you’ll be more than satisfied.I’ve used Govee products for at least five years now — four bulbs and two strips — and they’ve been very reliable. One older bulb has a minor issue where it doesn’t completely turn off and glows faintly like a nightlight. But after that much usage, I’m fine with that. It’s a minor flaw, and the overall track record is solid.These bulbs have made my smart lighting more manageable. They’re easier to set up than LIFX, play well with Alexa, and give me the features I use most without overcomplicating things. Vibrant colors
My first time buys this brand. These are great bulbs and the colors are very vibrant. They a bit more expensive then other but you can change the colors and app controlled. Like that they connect to Alexa but I was having a hard time connecting to them. Downloading the app was not walk in the park, 3 times before I got it to work.

Changed out my whole house. I tried so many different phone/app controlled bulbs these are great; easy to connect and control. Wish it worked with apple home instead of needing the Govee app, but all the ones I have tried that work with apple home have too many issues. Govee app is easy to use and has all the functionality you need. The only draw back of the app is you can only control 10 devices on 1 theme(not a huge issue you can save specific colors to easily set different sets of lights to the same color and dimming is numerical so easy to match). *Cough* Govee update your app ;). Great price highly recommend. Timer function works great. Definitely set up with WiFi.

distracted for hours and easy to setup
The Govee light bulbs are amazing there’s so many features to these light bulbs especially when using it with Alexa. Me and my wife were trying all the different settings on these light bulbs using Alexa. Connecting it to my Wi-Fi and was very simple and easy you just download the app and it walks you through the process it also walks you through the process of connecting to Alexa. The lights are bright, but you can also dim the lights, they don’t flicker when dimming the lights. The connection is pretty solid no issues, me and my wife had them for a few days now. Since they are LEDs they will last you long time and save you money in the long run. Works amazing with Alexa or if u want you can always just use the Govee app. When connecting it to Alexa there are so many features you can use its amazing what technology can do.

These lights are the easiest to hook up and work great! I like the different settings they have and all the colors. We love the movie setting as it gives you plenty of light but you don’t have a glare on the screen.

Perfection, simplified. The app does all the work for you. Simply screw in your bulb, turn the light on, and go to your app, and you will be walked through the rest of the simplified set up. The color range is phenomenal, the applications of colors is beyond all expectations, and whether it is for mood lighting or party, there is something for every occasion. And when you can’t find exactly what you want, the app allows you to design your own.

Two of the set of four are working fine. Whoever unfortunately, the other two bulbs are defective and won’t work. I tried to contact the seller maybe they can send a replacement but sadly I couldn’t get a hold of them. So far the product has been 50% success rate so i highly recommend finding another seller that might offer a better customer support if the items are defective.

I’m really happy with these Govee Smart Bulbs overall. The setup was super easy, and they connected to my Google Home without any issues. I also like how intuitive the app is and how quickly I can change colours or brightness.The colour range is good, but not quite as refined as Philips Hue bulbs. I find it a bit tricky to get the exact colour tone I want, especially with softer or more subtle shades. That said, for the price and the features you get, they’re an amazing value.If you want reliable smart bulbs that work well with Google Home and don’t want to spend Philips Hue money, these are a great choice!
