Latest HDMI 2.1 Interface: Govee AI Sync Box 2 adopts the latest HDMI 2.1 interface for data transmission, enabling screen and lighting synchronization, and supporting resolutions of up to 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 144Hz. HDMI 2.1 Sync Box supports VRR and ALLM, reducing screen tearing and latency, providing a seamless experience.
Unique CogniGlow Technology: Govee Sync Box uses AI to automatically recognize images and text, determining trigger conditions to match specific lighting effects, providing you with an immersive gaming experience. Note: Automatic signal switching is not supported when multiple devices are connected.
RGBWIC Four-Color Mixing: An RGBWIC LED light strip ensures purer white light and accurate color blending for vibrant effects, making it better suited for game visuals.
High-Density Light Strip: With 75 LEDs/m and a brightness of 450 lumens/m, the high-density light strip cooperates with our Sync Box to provide a brighter and more comfortable experience.
Matter Support: Seamlessly integrates with multiple smart ecosystems, supporting convenient voice control. (Only lighting-related functions are supported).
DreamView: Synchronize colors across multiple Govee lights to create an immersive gaming environment. Equally supports Dolby vision and Doldy atmos.
A special note for using HDR, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision: Due to the functional characteristics, when you turn on HDR, HDR1O+, or Dolby Vision, the saturation of the light’s color might decrease, which is normal. You can also adjust the saturation in the app to achieve a satisfying lighting effect.

Absolutely Perfect – These RGB Lights Took My Setup to the Next Leve
I can confidently say this is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made for my gaming and work setup. Right out of the box, these RGB light bars were incredibly easy to assemble. No tools, no complicated instructions — just plug them in, place them behind or beside your monitor using the included stands or adhesive, and you’re ready to go. The setup took me less than 10 minutes, and the result was instantly impressive. What really blew me away is how much of a difference these lights made in the overall vibe and feel of my space. The vibrant, customizable lighting completely transformed my desk into a futuristic, immersive zone. Whether I’m gaming, working late at night, or just relaxing with music, the ambient lighting adds a sense of depth and energy that makes everything more enjoyable. Plus, the colors are rich, smooth, and easy on the eyes — no harsh glare, which helps reduce eye strain during longer sessions. One of the best features is the ability to control everything with a smartphone app. You can easily switch between preset scenes, adjust brightness, change colors, or even sync the lights with music or gameplay for dynamic, real-time effects. It makes the whole experience feel interactive and highly personalized. The lights fit perfectly with the rest of my setup — the purple tones match my mechanical keyboard, mouse pad, and background lighting to create a cohesive, stylish aesthetic. This product doesn’t just look great — it also offers practical benefits. It enhances visibility, reduces strain from bright screens in dark rooms, and adds a clean, professional look that would impress any visitor, viewer, or client. Whether you’re a casual gamer, hardcore streamer, or remote worker looking to improve your space, these lights are a total game-changer.Bottom line: they’re affordable, easy to install, stunning to look at, and packed with features. If you’re thinking about upgrading your setup, don’t hesitate — these RGB lights are 100% worth it. Everyone should have a pair.Room is coming together

    Easy setup and great quality
The box works great and is easy to set up. Only dropping a star because it requires external HDMI output to get the video feed so would not work with a smart TV.

Huge step up from the camera one
Previously I had the camera dreamview GS1 and the sync box is so much better in every single way. The colors are more accurate compared and whenever there’s a black screen the lights actually dim down unlike the camera dreamview gs1 where it would still display a color which kinda takes away from the immersion. Also the fact that you don’t need to have a camera mounted on the top of your monitor makes your setup look clean and tidy. 100% recommend

    Obsessed
Buy! I have spent a lot of $$ on a Philips Hue setup on our living room (main room we watch content in). I could have saved a lot of $ if I’d have realized that Govee had a sync box for HDMI signals vs their older camera tracking setup. This product does what the Hue setup does far cheaper. I’m not super familiar with the Govee ecosystem but does seem that Hue allows a lot more extra light (think whole home concept) vs what I can do with Govee. Setup and install was much less hectic than setting up my Hue system. I’m very satisfied and would recommend this.

AI it’s just s gimmick, only few games are supported
It does exactly what it means to do,nice lights that compliment the room, and with govee dreamview it picks up the color in the monitor with ease, and that’s where the problem is, it does the same things the govee gaming lights do for 50$,and I’d argue that the gaming lights do a much better job at picking up colors when the edges of the monitor are black.AI it’s just a gimmick, might be because my monitor is ultrawide however it didn’t pick up any game other than LoL or apex, games that have thousand of triggers and light effects, other games however have very few effects…often 3-5 so if it does work, you’d not see it very often since the conditions to trigger are so few in most games …Overall not worth it, 250 dollars for something that for me,feels like a downgrade from govees original gaming lights that go for around 50$

Probably Better to Wait for Updates
The set up and install is pretty easy and I’m able to get 144hz through the box which is pretty huge. I believe it’ll do 10 bit color at 120 Hz but for 144hz it goes down to 8 bit. If I remember correctly, I don’t believe that was a limitation of the display beforehand. The lighting works great in SDR content. The lighting is very bright even if the colors are a little off. There are two negatives for me.1. HDR is not working at all. If you intend to use this with HDR content, I’d say wait for now. I’m not sure if they can fix it in the future, but I’d probably hold off until they do. Whenever there is HDR content on the screen all of the lighting gets super washed out and the colors don’t match at all. If black is shown on the screen, the lights will turn green instead just turning themselves off. In SDR it works great, but HDR not so much.2. The app is not great. There are only a few settings to adjust the colors and saturation manually, but they don’t really seem to do much. Also, there does seem to be much information about how the settings work or what they’re supposed to do. Saturation you’ll likely have to turn way down to get the colors accurate.Overall, I’d recommend waiting on some updates to resolve some of the early adopter headaches before pulling the trigger.

Great so long as you don’t need or want to manage DreamView via PC
Does not support DreamView over LAN. I knew this in advance, but it is incredibly irritating that for 3 generations of the his product, Govee STILL doesn’t support it over the PC app.

Best ever Govee light because it might be a little bit pricey but you won’t regret it everything is great the ease of installation, color option , functionality ,value for money but there is a small problem and it is that it doesn’t have ANY good scenes it just has 20 and the scenes are really bad also the brightness is great.

One of the best accessories you can add to your gaming space, Color lighting and saturation are easily customizable through either graphics driver control panels or the Govee App with Smartphones

Great product, Some limitations, and a little pricey. This is no doubt a cool product that works well outside of 4K on high refresh rates, and VRR. It is also limited with the HDMI when running a multiple monitor setup. For your average gamer with 1 Monitor, and you can afford this and game at 1440 or 1080…Buy It! It enhances the experience so much.Where the limitations come into play. At 4K it advertises that it can handle a higher refresh rate (VRR and 144Hz) I find anything over 120Hz my monitor will not accept that refresh rate. Also, I tried adding this to my TV 55″, it does not have the ability to power a longer LED light strip. The side lighting post work with the TV.My 5080 graphics card only has 2 HDMI ports, and my prior 4080 only had 1 HDMI port. The limitation this has is multi monitor set-up. My HDMI port is used for a sensor panel. So I did DP to HDMI cable into the Govee box… The lighting works fine doing this. However the output to the Monitor is only 60Hz and will not support VRR. It needs to be only HDMI all the way through. Adapters kill the refresh rate. However the lighting still works.
