    965 plus Garmin Connect+ = Win!!
I’ve had the 965 since November and it is awesome. There are some great reviews online for all the features except for 1.There is a feature where you can connect your watch to Garmin Messenger and text friends and family using the gps from your watch!!! Amazing, there is even Messenger app on the 965 by default under activities and I think other. You can setup canned responses in Messenger(iphone app) and use your watch to send those messages. You do have to have Garmin Connect + but it is only 7 bux a month. I can even text pics of my location. I like this because I go deep in the woods where there is little to no coverage but I can still text via messenger app on my iphone. I also have a garmin 1030 bike computer that I use TrailForks navigation but it often gets stuck because it is older and the gps is not as good. My 965 saved the day where even in the woods I get a clear signal and if my 1030 looses my location my 965 is dead on.I use strava to track my activities and especially over the last 2 years my fitness has increased almos 900%!! Krazy right? I attribute this huge gain to the 965.I’ve also tried the Garmin Run plan with a goal distance of a 5k and now I’m doing the run plan with Greg via Garmin and it is awesome. You pick the days you want to work out and it does the rest. This has really motiveated me to run more consistently. The Coach greg plan you do lots of easy runs, track intervals, hill repeates and long runs. I love it.If you want to get in shape get the 965!!****Update 20250801I have used it to navigate back to start several times. If you hold the upper right button and go to save location it saves with the current date and timestamp. Its too unwieldy to edit the name with the watch. So make sure you download the mobile Garmin Explore app and synch with your devices. The just saved location will show up immediately. click on it and edit the name to something more descriptive.

Long battery life, comfortable, and good looking.
I’ve used this for nearly two weeks and here are my thoughts on it.It’s amazing. I previously had an Apple Watch Series 8, and it was a great smartwatch. However, after a few years with that it was clear that I wasn’t using the Apple Watch to it’s full smartwatch potential and was mainly using it for the health features. The battery life in the Apple Watch was only about 1-2 days max, so I definitely wanted something that would track health and also have a long battery life.Well the Garmin Forerunner 965 is just that watch for me. It’s been 11 days off the charger and it’s still at 31% battery, and I couldn’t be happier. It tracks all the health features that the Apple watch did and some. It connects to my phone really well, and syncs all the data. The user interface is less intuitive to use than an Apple Watch, but after just a couple of weeks I’m pretty used to it. The band that comes with it is comfortable, but not breathable. The UI is easy to read, and fairly customizable.Overall I give this watch and 8.5-9 out of 10. It’s a great one.

The best fitness watch, in my opinion.
I’m a big runner, who previously had an Apple Watch. Gotta say, this watch is significantly better than the Apple Watch. It has a significantly better battery life (over 20 days), tracks your sleep, workouts, and heart rate better than competitors.Only downside is that it’s software is slightly less modern and intuitive than my Apple Watch, but all the benefits outweigh the drawbacks in my opinion.I’ve had this watch for about a year and don’t regret purchasing it at all. There’s been consistent updates which have only improved the overall experience. If you’re a runner or big into fitness, you’ll love this watch.

Finally Made the Jump to Garmin – So Long Battery Anxiety!
I’d been struggling with my Pixel 3 watch on longer runs – it just couldn’t hang in there past 17 miles, which was incredibly frustrating. I started looking for something with serious battery life but didn’t want to feel like I was downgrading on cool features. The Forerunner 965 kept popping up, and I decided to give it a shot. Man, am I glad I did. I purchased the one with the white band, I think it looks very sleek and modern compared to the black one.Pros:Battery for Days (Well, Miles and Miles!): This is the biggest one for me. I can go on my long runs, and then some, without even thinking about the battery percentage. It’s a huge relief not to have that anxiety anymore. I used to have to charge my pixel watch daily, I can go a full week without charging this watch! That Screen is Gorgeous: The AMOLED display is no joke. It’s so bright and clear, even when I’m out in direct sunlight. Data is super easy to read at a glance, which is exactly what you need when you’re trying to focus on your pace.Buttons I Actually Like Using: I didn’t realize how much I’d appreciate good, tactile buttons until I had them. They’re really responsive and make navigating menus or starting/stopping activities a breeze, especially with sweaty hands when a touchscreen can be finicky.Still Feels Smart: While it’s definitely a running-focused watch, it still has a lot of the smart features I liked on my Pixel. I get my notifications, can control music, and it tracks all sorts of health metrics.Cons:Missing True Independence (No LTE): The only real drawback for me is the lack of LTE. I can’t take calls or send texts if I don’t have my phone with me. It’s not a dealbreaker, as I’ll wear my old Pixel watch with LTE on my other wrist to avoid me needing my bulky phone with me.Overall:Switching to the Forerunner 965 has been a game-changer for my running. The battery life alone makes it worth it, but the awesome screen and user-friendly buttons are fantastic bonuses. I finally get why so many runners swear by Garmin. If you’re a runner who needs reliability and great performance without sacrificing too many smartwatch conveniences, I’d definitely recommend checking this one out.Edit: Added a screenshot of my first run with the watch. 10 miles and the battery only went down 3% throughout while listening to music. I made the right choice to switch!

This watch does absolutely everything, the screen is beautiful, battery life is excellent and with only GPS tracking a few light activities, I was rewarded with 13 days of battery with it around 2% remaining, so quite simply put it has functioned exactly as expected. The watch body seems very light and comfortable – the silicone?? strap has perfect adjustability, and just feels “right”. I was surprised by little things, such as the “strength” activity tracking actually correctly detected when I was doing reps of various exercises, and you can track metrics like weight (and others) to review and inform progress, which you can correct/edit later if an error was made. Neato. Some minor perturbances if I’m being picky – sometimes the heartrate monitor is sluggish, which is not the best when you’re trying to observe quick changes resulting from effort/output in your activity compared to HR recovery time for example. Also, sometimes when you’re twisting your wrist to have the screen wake, it doesn’t, and you have to repeat once or a couple times more. Doesn’t happen often, and if it bothered me enough and I didn’t mind whatever increased battery burn-rate that equates to, I would enable the screen always on. There’s more little improvements they can make, I can list a few more, but I’m sure they will update and patch a lot of this stuff throughout it’s support lifecycle. All in all, such a solid product. Synced well with speed/cadence sensors, and other Garmin products like inReach Mini 2. It looks classy and is still pragmatic and functional. Doesn’t look boorish. Buy it, and you won’t regret it! Expensive, but what should something like this cost? It seems fair for what it does and is capable of.

Increíble producto de Garmin. Muchas funcionalidades para diversos deportes, en mi caso lo uso más para correr y bici. Pero el funcionamiento muy ágil. El reloj, muy ligero. Excelente pantalla. Batería dura un buen.
