EASY TO SET UP WORKS WITH ALEXA
Totally compatible. These can be set up without even reading the instructions. Push button until blue light blinks. Connect to FEIT app (FEIT app can be deleted later). After connecting to FEIT app connect to Alexa. Works well. No issues. Marcho thinks it works better than the brand name plug and the size of this plug is also nice and small. All of this at a GREAT pricepoint. Would buy again. I got this because my Amazon plugs stopped working mysteriously after years of use (they all stopped at the same time, would not reconnect to the wifi no matter what I did).

We absolutely love these Wi-Fi outlets. We have had some from this brand for a couple of years and the functionality and app have improved over that time. We now have these outlets on most of our lamps throughout our house. We even have one that an air freshener plug-in is plugged into so we can program it to come on for a little while and then go off. (We find it too strong when left plugged in all the time.) The fact that we can set a schedule for outdoor lights, etc. is fantastic! They are easy to set up, a good value for the money and are really unobtrusive. I encourage you to give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I recently purchased this product and have been using it for about a week. Overall, it offers great value for the price and has worked exactly as advertised.The main drawback is its lack of HomeKit compatibility. However, given the additional costs manufacturers face for HomeKit certification, I wasn’t expecting this feature at this price point.Setup was straightforward, and the user interface is intuitive. All features function as described, and I haven’t encountered any technical issues.While HomeKit users may find the lack of integration inconvenient, it’s understandable given the affordable price. For those not heavily invested in the Apple ecosystem, this shouldn’t be a significant concern.This product delivers reliable performance and excellent value. Despite the HomeKit limitation, I would recommend it to anyone seeking a budget-friendly option that meets its promised capabilities.

UPDATE!!!! – OKAY, I switched internet providers recently for cost savings, and MAYBE it had everything to do with an incompatible modem/router?!? With this new internet service, this exact plug that disconnected from wifi every couple weeks has NOW been constantly connected to the new service for 3 months now AND performs its nightly on/off schedule. So, I DO have to change my mind on this unit for the time being as it seems to be working like a charm now….!!!!PREVIOUS REVIEW :This item, WHEN it works, is great! BUT, it’s the times it doesn’t work that it’s irritating. LUCKILY, for me, it’s only being used to turn my Tetris lamp on and off nightly. I had purchased 3 of these from Amazon and 3 from Home Depot. Unfortunately, I couldn’t return the Home Depot ones, so this review is for them, but they’re the exact same units.I have it set nightly, turning on at 6:00pm and off at 11:00pm. I will have to say, about EVERY 2 – 3 weeks, the unit will somehow disconnect from the wifi, and then it’s rendered useless….it’s off its timer and nothing gets turned on. Like I said, it’s only being used to turn on my Tetris lamp. But it’s for this reason I don’t bother using the other 2 units I have as I can’t trust them. Imagine if I had this plugged in behind a bookcase or someplace hard to access, it would be an extreme hassle to locate it, unplug it, plug it back in and get the wifi to connect to it again. I do this with the lamp, but luckily the plug is literally right next to the lamp. But I shouldn’t have to do this once or twice a month.

They have quite a bit of variability whether they’ll stay connected to WiFi. I have two five feet from each other and the one disconnects randomly and stays disconnected, but if I unplug it and plug it back in it connects fine for awhile again. Looking at other reviews there does appear to be a pattern of poor quality and inconsistency for connectivity.A compounding problem is these don’t keep their schedule unless they’re connected to WiFi. Idiotic. We’ve had inexpensive, durable, reliable mechanical timers for decades and they’re better than the new fancy tech. The tech industry at large cannot design anything successfully anymore, they don’t test and think, they just ship it. I’m a software engineer by profession, I’ve seen how the sausage is made lately and left the industry because sharing a codebase with many of these people is insufferable. Competence crisis is real and ubiquitous.

I bought the Feit Electric Smart Plug used for $15 on amazon, and it works perfectly! Setting it up was easy, and I love that it connects with Alexa and Google Home. Simplemente lo compre para adaptar un enchiufe de lampara, pero por mas que lo inento no se logra emparejar con wifi. (tengo focos inteligentes de esta misma marca que funcionan a la perfeccion). Tengo que estar en la misma habitcion para que sea manejable con la app de Feit Electric en mi iphone. No se si estoy cometiendo algun error, pero lo seuire intentando. por lo pronto no me sirve para nada….
