    Beautiful Shades
The black navigators with the touch of gold is a nice look. The smart glasses were easy to setup with the Alexa app. Managing the charging stand separate from the case is a bit cumbersome. As for the operation of the smart glasses, the sound has been great but I haven’t used them in a noisy environment. That said, I’m happy with my purchase.

    Alexa+ = Useless Smart Frames
These worked well under the old Alexa but upgrading them to Alexa+ has literally made these smart glasses useless, due to ridiculously stringent security checks.I asked Alexa on my frames to add 2 numbers together (basic arithmetic), and I literally got the reply “You’ll need to unlock your iPhone first”. In short, the security added is so stringent, you’ll literally need your phone in your hand to authorize these frames to do first grade arithmetic.Of course, once I have my phone in my hand, I could just ask Siri to do the math instead, rendering these smart frames entirely useless. What’s worse is wearing them around the house, any command I try to give to my household Alexa devices gets intercepted by the frames, which again responds with “You’ll need to unlock your iPhone first.” So if I’m in the kitchen & need turn the lights on, I can either walk to the bedroom to authorize the frames to “turn on kitchen lights” or walk a tiny fraction of the distance to the wall switch, fully defeating my smart home setup.

    Great sound, great style
good quality, great style but a little pricey for what you get. If they were like $200, I would have given them 5 stars.

    Very stylish and functional
I’m very impressed with this version of smart frames. The partnership with Carrera also works. The sunglasses look great and nobody can tell they are anything other than regular sunglasses while I’m wearing them. Here are a few impressions after a couple of weeks of wearing them:Audio: sound quality is very good. It lacks bass when compared to AirPods Pro but you are not wearing anything in your ear, which is very nice. At mid volume, nobody around you can hear music or your calls. If you put at full volume, people about 3 ft away can hear a faint sound. 8/10Call quality: just like the audio above, the quality is very good. The mic is clear and it filters ambient sounds better than my AirPod Pros. Given this is also an Alexa device, that’s good news. 10/10Functionality: I must say, I can’t work the buttons on the frame too well (big fingers) but I’m yet to need them. You put the glasses on and they just work. If you need to adjust anything like volume, you just ask Alexa. It controls your phone, opening certain apps. More functional than Siri with AirPods. I was able to make/change appointments, get directions, calls people and get answers using just voice. 10/10Privacy: I’m glad Amazon didn’t go the Meta/Rayban route and kept this without cameras. I’d not like to walk around with a camera pointed to everyone. When the mic is recording voice, you see a blue light on the corner of your eye. Very nice to check when it’s on, without being intrusive. While it has a mute button for Alexa, I’m yet to consistently find it while I’m wearing the glasses. 9/10Charging: it comes with a very weird looking wireless stand. It takes a could of tries to figure out how to out the glasses on it. It’s nice charging is all wireless, it works for hours (with calls and listening to music) without need to recharge (I have not done a full battery life test yet). I wish it had a more mainstream charger but not a dealbreaker. 8/10Quality: I got the Carrera version and it’s a very high quality and stylish product. It fits nicely, lightweight, and looks the part. 10/10Overall: given the price, quality and functionality, I’d give this a 9/10.

    Pretty mid smart glasses.
I owned these for a while and lost them. The look is my favorite, but the audio quality is piss-poor.Also, regardless of how I changes the settings in my phone, it would always take over my car audio when I got in. None of my other smart glasses did that.

    Great sunglasses!
They work great! I bought these for my husband and he really liked them! I bought them since he hikes and before he would wear headphones 🎧 but then he was not able to be aware of his surroundings, with this glasses he is able to listen his music or answer the phone without making him unaware of what’s going on at o und him! Battery last for several hours and the fit perfect!

    Comfortable
Thank you. I will send questions to Alexa when I have the glasses and the equipment fully charged at the safe time.

Honest personal echo frame review after having for a year
I have had my glasses for almost a year now. The sound quality may be better but the overall functionality of the echo frames since the 3rd generation was released has dropped considerably. The app only lets you call associates who have alexa app installed now as a standard function, whether your on version 2 or 3.For the 3rd generation faults, there is no touch pad like on version 2, the alexa command will go off randomly at times for no reason, the glasses slide down my face each day i wear them compared to version 2 which did not ( I even followed the instructions for the bending of frames to make them fit better).-The biggest fault is that you cannot replace the charger or buy a second so if your charger breaks or gets lost for any reason you lose out on charging your frames unless you want to buy a new pair. This is the biggest issue of all as the frames will only charger on that one charging stand and will not charge using any other device.
