As a diagnosis port, OBDII port can be applied to cars manufactured since 1996. Anyone can use the port to program a car’s computer, clone keys, read the sensors, and read fault codes.

With the new technology introduced by highly-skilled car thieves in recent years, vehicle safety has been an increasingly serious problem because the bugs of a car OBD ports are used to disable the alarm and a new key is programed to steal a car.

When using a key to unlock or lock bbfly-K01, turning the key will make the dead bolt rub the clip. Therefore, it’s normal that you use slight extra strength to turn the key, and this is not a quality problem.

If it’s difficult for you to turn the key manually, you may use our stick or vice to pinch the key’s bottom to facilitate your turning.

K01 can only pull out the key when it is completely locked. If it is found that the key cannot be pulled out, please continue to turn it to a fixed position in the “OFF” direction forcefully, and then the key can be pulled out.

Wiring or any screw is not required for bbfly-K01, and the original OBD port will not be damaged as well.

Generally, other products use screws to be drilled into the OBD2 port, which may cause a short circuit and result in any major traffic accident.

bbfly- K01 cannot be unlocked if the blades don’t match the groove.

Currently, other products available on the market are fixed with screws. As a result, all types of screws can be easily unscrewed by thieves by using several different tools, and the interchangeability of these products is extremely high.
It’s not required to assemble bbfly K01. The OBD2 port can be instantly unlocked or locked by using a key to turn the key cylinder only.
bbfly-K01 is combined with aluminum alloy and POM. The S-shaped double groove cylinder technology can prevent technical unlocking (master keys or crowbars), while the aluminum alloy can prevent violent unlocking (with tools like a hammer).
Equipped with a double groove blade cylinder, bbfly K01 has a complex interior structure, and the cylinder blade can have over 10,000 variations. One key matches one key cylinder only, and each cylinder has one sole number. Therefore, the interchangeability is close to zero.
bbfly-K01 is applicable to 90% car OBD ports. Because of the authentic key cylinder and anti-theft structure, K01 is larger and heavier than other products. Please check whether your OBDII port matches the product before purchasing.
Repeatedly designed and tested by our structural engineers, volume production and sales of bbfly-K01 have been made in 2025. The patent application is under progress.
If it is found that the key cannot be pulled out, please continue to turn it to a fixed position in the “OFF” direction forcefully, and then the key can be pulled out.
