Excellent Thermal Paste for Cooler Temps!

Excellent Thermal Paste, Easy to Apply
I’ve used a few thermal pastes over the years, and ARCTIC MX-4 is one of the best. It spreads smoothly and evenly, and the non-conductive formula gives peace of mind during installation. Old Reliable
Installing this paste is just like any other tube. It’s easy and very straightforwards. Arctic has had MX-4 on the market for a very long time, and it’s a well-regarded paste for it’s good quality and longevity. It’s not too sticky, and being silicon-based, you can install it on just about anything, making it compatible with just about any electronics. Being a 4 gram tube, the excretion hole isnt too large, meaning you get the perfect thickness, allowing for better thermal conductivity. Rock solid paste, would buy again.

I got some of this a few months after purchasing a Dell XPS 9570 with 6 core i7. The CPU would hit about 83 Degrees C under high load on all cores and with GPU running hard. After re-pasting the CPU and GPU with this stuff, I no longer hit thermal throttling of any sort. Its a great product and re-pasting took minutes, literally. What I can say is you can take this a step further and add thermal pads to the VRM’s and under-volt (-190mV currently) and the system runs perfectly. Battery life when on light load has doubled, up to 9 hours with 80% screen brightness on “Better Performance” mode in Windows 10. A lot of this comes from the re-pasting with this thermal compound, I was under volting before and couldn’t achieve this level of thermal headroom! Great product, large amount in the tube and frankly you could probably do about 10 laptops with the amount you get.

Meine CPU läuft jetzt konstant 8–10 °C kühler als vorher, auch unter Last. Das macht sich besonders beim Gaming bemerkbar: Der Lüfter muss nicht mehr so hoch drehen und der ganze PC läuft deutlich ruhiger.Preis-Leistung ist unschlagbar! Für den Preis bekommt man hier wirklich Premium-Qualität. Die 4g Tube reicht locker für mehrere Anwendungen. Habe gleich die Leitpaste bei meiner Verlobten getauscht und die Tube im Freundeskreis weitergereicht. (kleiner Tipp an dieser Stelle: alte Paste immer zuerst restlos entfernen! Am leichtesten geht es mit einem Mikrofasertuch und etwas Desinfektionsmittel – hier aber nicht übertreiben, es soll danach schließlich trocken sein, bevor man die neue Paste aufträgt)Sicherheit ist wichtig – da die Paste nicht elektrisch leitend ist, muss man sich keine Sorgen um Kurzschlüsse machen.Die Verpackung wirkt hochwertig und der Authenticity Check gibt zusätzliche Sicherheit, dass man auch wirklich das Original bekommt.Fazit: Klare Kaufempfehlung!
