A tiny workhorse that never flinches — perfect for Pi flashing on the fly
I’ve put this little Anker reader through absolute abuse flashing Raspberry Pi OS images on my Windows laptop, pulling video off microSD cards, moving firmware, backing up configs, you name it. It lives in my backpack and gets used constantly, and it hasn’t missed a beat once.Transfer speeds are fast and consistent. Tiny design and strong sd card reader
I have a new computer with type c ports but no sd card reader. I got this Anker brand because it’s reputation is well known. Upon receiving the package, I was very impressed how it look. It is strong and light weight. It can take micro sd card as well as standard size and the transfer rate is fast. I am happy with this.

Quick and Easy from Camera to Phone
Transferring photos from a digital camera to a smartphone often feels clunky and slow due to the apps usually being buggy and just straight up horrible to use. This is where this device comes in so clutch and is super quick. For reference, I took hundreds of photos with my Ricoh GR III and was able to easily transfer it over to my iPhone with ease. No need to fumble through apps and wait forever for photos to transfer over WiFi or Bluetooth.

I’ve had this card reader for 4 years and it’s still working consistently every time. I needed it for my drone so I could transfer photos to my phone quickly, and now I use it for my other camera as well. Works every time and I even use it on my desktop PC.

Wish it was clearer which was the card should face
This works fine, except it’s not clear which side the card should face when being put in, so sometimes I put my card in upside down and feel like I’m accidentally scraping it…
