Versitile
Standard installation process. It is nice that it supports 3-way configuration if needed though I did not. I replaced an old 30 year old dial style dimmer switch which was hard to press in to turn on. It took me longer to find out which breaker controlled that circuit than to install the switch. It controls my LED dining room light perfectly. The LEDs dim smoothly and the switch is much easier to turn on. The switch does have a little spongy feel when turning it on rather than a smooth positive motion. It’s far better than the prior switch.

Thoughtfully Designed and Works Smoothly
I’ve gone through a few dimmer switches in the last year, and this one has a small but really smart design feature I appreciate: the dimmer slider is at the bottom of the panel rather than right next to the paddle switch. On some other models, the slider sits alongside the paddle, and it’s way too easy to accidentally nudge the dimmer when you’re just trying to flip the lights on or off. This layout avoids that completely.Installation was pretty straightforward—no surprises there—and it works well in both single-pole and 3-way setups. The feel of the paddle is solid, and the slider moves smoothly without sticking or feeling loose. I tested it with dimmable LED bulbs, and the light adjusts gradually without any noticeable flicker or hum.The included wall plate matches the finish well, and the light almond color blends in nicely if you’re going for something more neutral or traditional.Nothing flashy here—just a well-designed switch that functions exactly the way it should. Bonus points for the layout that avoids accidental dimming. It’s a small thing, but it makes daily use noticeably better.

Terrible
Terrible . Stopped working after a few days. Flimsy. Avoid this junk and spend a few more bucks for something that is better quality.

Great dimmer switch
These are great, did exactly what I needed. What am I doing with them? Using these and some electrical boxes I built a portable dimmer switch that I can plug into any 3-prong outlet to turn a non-dimming lamp to become dimmable. This is common on film sets for background practical lighting. With some dimmable bulbs these work great. They have a calibration switch on the inner plate that lets you set the level when the dimmer is set to its lowest setting with power – since some bulbs handle the lower power differently. Nice touch.Make sure you follow the instructions, I definitely ruined one of these by wiring it wrong, but that was operator error not product! 🙂

💡 Let There Be (Adjustable) Light!
The Amico Dimmer Light Switch delivers smooth, reliable dimming performance in a sleek ivory package. Whether you’re upgrading your lighting ambiance or just trying to tame those bright LEDs, this single-pole/3-way switch gets the job done with no fuss.✅ What I Liked:Versatile Setup – Works as both a single-pole and 3-way dimmer, so it’s compatible with most common wiring setups.Smooth Sliding Control – The dimmer slider moves smoothly and feels durable—not loose or cheap like some others.LED/CFL + Incandescent Compatible – Handles up to 150W of dimmable LED/CFL or 600W of incandescent/halogen, giving flexibility across bulb types.Wall Plate Included – Bonus points for including the matching ivory wall plate. No extra trip to the hardware store!Clean, Neutral Aesthetic – The ivory finish looks sharp and blends easily into most walls and decor.⚠️ Things to Consider:Not Smart-Home Compatible – No Wi-Fi or app control here. Strictly old-school manual operation.Slight Buzz With Some Bulbs – Depending on your bulb brand/model, you might hear a faint hum at low dimming levels (common with many dimmers).💬 Final Verdict:The Amico Dimmer Switch is a dependable, no-frills lighting upgrade that works seamlessly with both modern and traditional bulbs. It installs easily, dims reliably, and feels built to last—all at a wallet-friendly price.Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)Simple, effective, and stylish—perfect for anyone looking to modernize their lighting without going fully smart.

A good value and does a good job.
A decent dimming switch with easily accessible dimmer control and large flip switch. Adjustable internal control allows setting the proper range for your lighting setup. They are a good value for the price and so far, I have had no problems with this unit. They come in multi-packs which is great for getting a decent price to change out several switches.

Cheap and Not the Quality I Wanted – but may be fine for some
I ended up returning the item. While the are what they say they are, I thought the switch quality felt cheep and flimsy. While they might be fine for the budget shopper, I was willing to spend extra, double or triple, to get the quality and feel I want. But I would not discourage value shoppers from giving them a try.
