Amazon Fire TV Soundbar Plus (newest model) with built-in subwoofer, 3.1 channel, Dolby Atmos, clear dialogue

Plug and Play: Hard Bass and Clear Treble
In a world where other TV sound bars can exceed $500 – $1,000+, the Amazon Fire TV Soundbar Plus exceeds my expectations for the price point. I own a Samsung smart TV and use the Fire Stick as the primary source of content, and the set up for the soundbar was very simply “plug and play” using the provided high speed HDMI cable. After tweaking a couple small settings to fit the room the TV is in, I’ve found that the bass is strong and deep, the treble comes through clearly, and dialogue can be heard nicely through both. The settings menu is simple and easy to use, as is the remote that is included with the bar was well. The soundbar itself has some solid weight to it and feels high quality for what it costs. My TV’s speakers were okay for what they are, but the sounds that comes through this product are on a different level. I can highly recommend this product for anyone not necessarily looking to spend the aforementioned $500 – $1,000+ on other brands bars and are looking for solid quality at a fair price point.

Very pleasantly surprised – Great product
I ordered this on sale from a Prime Deal Day, and couldn’t be happier with the purchase. I chose to get just the soundbar since I live in an apartment and don’t want to disrupt the neighbors, so I didn’t expect much bass response, but boy was I wrong. This bar generates some great mids, making clear vocals and even music sound great, highs are a touch tinny but distortion doesn’t come in until super high volume, and bass is very full and punchy for not having a dedicated sub. Stereo separation generates a good sense of direction, although the simulated surround sound is just a gimmick. Massive upgrade over tv speakers, which is all I was looking for, and most people will be satisfied with the difference. If you want an audiophile quality setup, you’re probably not looking at glorified Amazon basics soundbars anyways. Build quality is good, and it looks good enough beneath a screen, although it is surprisingly large, in depth and height, which makes it difficult to fit between the legs of some TVs. Although the size is most likely what allows for the good bass response. I can’t speak to the full surround + sub setup, but I can imagine it is a very good value for an entry level soundbar home theater setup. I gave 4 stars because I’m not sure this is worth the full $250, although if the price drops or a sale comes around I would absolutely recommend you grab one.

Well I thought that I could use a little more umpff from my TV in my bedroom and have long thought about getting a soundbar. So considering I use a firestick for all my programming and not being too familiar with the home theatre these days, I decided on this soundbar plus. I figured that there would be zero compatibility issues because they were both Amazon products.Setup was very easy and the devices easily recognized each other and I was like ” That’s it?” So easy to set up just by following the on screen prompts of the firestick.Sound wise it’s definitely noticeable especially with dialogue and movies are much more immersive and with the built in subwoofer, you can feel the difference. Overall I am quite satisfied with the purchase as it was on sale.The only anomaly that I notice is that when the program changes to a commercial or whatever show, at the very beginning of each new segment it’s like the sound is louder but then the soundbar adjusts itself and then it maintains the level. But a new commercial and same thing happens. Will look into this deeper at some point if it bothers me.Also the firestick remote instantly connected to the soundbar and that was great. That is one of the reasons I went for this soundbar and it was flawless. So for those reasons I’m in!👍 ✨

Preliminary use indicates the soundbar produces audio enhancement compared with a previously used Dolby Digital soundbar, when used with Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby 5.1 and DTS Master Audio 5.0. While the sound is not highly spatial due to my set up, it is richly detailed and powerful. The bass level is very adequate for a small space. Excellent for music playback, with excellent clarity to voices too. So far, very good indeed, thank you very much. Good value too, and easy to install.
