Works as it should
Was ify about this but for the price, I said screw it. So far after 4 months, no issues and is working like it should. Cancels out the AFM on my ‘17 GMC with the 6.2L

Worked great on my truck, immediately worked as it should and deactivated the AFM. Probably saved me thousands down the road. No reason to buy the “range” brand when you can get these that do the same thing.

DOES NOT WORK WITH 4th GEN
Many of my friends run this AFM/DFM disabler but they all have 3rd gen silverados, I am the only person in my group that has a 4th gen silverado so this was either going to be a hit or miss and it was a major miss, I have the 5.3 v8 10 speed trans, I’d recommend spend the extra money and get a Pulsar LT with Insight monitor. (That’s what I run now)

According to my mechanic and the troubleshooting that we had completed, this actually fixes the issue, but not the issue for My vehicle. It works as described, and I have no real issues with it, but it was too late for my vehicle.

It’s not a huge difference that I notice, but am going to add a throttle response chip, so am thinking together they will work well. But I do notice the acceleration and the lag is not there anymore, so it does accomplish what is expected. Don’t notice better gas mileage, it’s a 2010 silverado 5.3 L v8 which is not known to be fuel efficient, so if that’s what your looking for, try something else. But Def no m9re lag with acceleration.
