Best Dash Cam! (Read Instructions)
Being that I have no wifi @ home and I only run Data for internet by my phone, this cam worked just as I had hoped. The hardware/camera is sleek, small and takes excellent clear video. I’d say it doesn’t really have night vision, but picks up natural light extremely well. It only requires a wifi connection to your phone when using/viewing the free app. Without wifi, the cam loop records the entire time, so long as there’s power. As long as your vehicle is on, it’s recording and the videos can be retrieved via the app during wifi connection or via micro sd card directly (which comes with the cam). If you have any worries or concerns about retrieving video, just buy a 4$ sd card adapter with a c-port that can connect right to your phone as backup. Otherwise, it’s unlikely you’d even need that. Just let the cam record, and in case of an event, just reconnect your app to the cam by wifi real quick and retrieve all recorded footage within the app. The wifi/app connection will conflict with the internet on your phone, so just turn the wifi off or disconnect dash cam wifi when youre not retrieving footage to get back to standard internet on your phone. No biggie! Well worth the low cost, free app and zero subscription fees : )

Buy this you won’t be sorry especially with the $17 add on harness
I watched reviews and noted a large variation in price. To me the choice was simple: I just need the ability to show a police officer “this guy pulled out in front of me.” The need to read a license plate once ruled out meant I could buy a less expensive camera to meet my needs, well, I found it here. Super easy to install and setup with good instruction. Once power is applied it asks you to format the installed included memory card and it starts recording. The bigger consideration for me was connecting the camera to power given I had a new car and I didn’t want to disrupt anything and I found that solution in an OBD adapter here:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DK77DPJF?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1This OBD device simply plugs in to the OBD port and plugs into the camera–done. The OBD cable provides two options using a switch on the module: 20 minutes of continuous record after the car is shut down or continuous recording after the car is shut down while it monitors car battery voltage and if it dips below a specific level it shuts the camera off. But lets face it, the amount of current the camera draws in very small and either one would be fine. You don’t need any other products or add-ons to get that functionality.The resolution far exceeded my expectations. The software is mediocre but does the job. The WIFI connection is way better than Bluetooth and is MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE with internet access WHILE accessing the camera and visa versa. Speed and GPS data? I have not come across any of that and it may or may not be there–I am thinking its not. Great value and you can’t go wrong.

Good if u don’t use Bluetooth for music in ur car
I had really high hopes for this dashcam.. the video quality is very good, that’s what the 5 stars is for, it is sharp, crisp and clear. The reason I am not going to continue to use it is because I can’t use my phone or play music via Bluetooth or use GPS because the camera needs to connect to the phone and issues it’s own wifi signal to work. Also, the only way to view the images or videos is if the phone is connected to the camera. So if u don’t use ur phone for music, then it’s a good item.

Great dash cam option for lower price range
Wanted a dash cam that wasn’t going to be too expensive and really just needed it to record and have a loop recording option to free up storage on its own, nothing fancy. This one is perfect. It plugs right in, it’s small but has good camera quality. I use CarPlay while I drive and it continues to record whenever the car is started up. I only need to disconnect my CarPlay when I want to go and look at the recording files in the app, and when I do it connects super fast. Overall great dash cam. Hopefully it’ll last a long time too.

Happy with the purchase
It was very easy to install & works exactly for what I wanted. The only downside I’ve found is that it wouldn’t work when no cell service or wifi available & we are in more remote areas, without that, pretty often.

Amazing quality, low cost
For my student care I wanted to have a dash cam found this on Amazon. It has great quality records pretty quickly, and the features are already great for the camera. It can store on any cloud or on the disk. Screen size is quite good and it is safety is good to use by teenagers as well. I found it easy to connect to my phone another device as well if you want to beginner, I would recommend to try it before you go for any expensive cameras.
