Excellent Brightness, Great Audio. Good enough to replace TV in daytime when using Standard Mode.
The projector doesn’t really hit 5700 usable lumens.. more like 3600-3900 if you’re using it in normal 4K and not HDR. That’s the mode I use and it looks fantastic. I’m using a Vividstorm Titan 180″ ALR screen and screen size is about 170″. I can have all the lights and blinds open during the day and it has completely replaced my TV. I had to stop using HDR because standard mode in regular 4k seems to look much better and brighter. The Harmon Kardon speaker has excellent sound and is very neutral and clear. I’m very happy with the purchase.

Best Projector I have ever owned!
Best projector I have purchased!I bought the combo projector and ALR screen, the quality is amazing, I also love the fact that the 3 laser light technology makes this tech much like a tv, where there is a lifetime set to 20,000 hours. I love the way this projector has made my life easier, it just works, and projects the image perfectly on the wall, screen, and the way I can swivel and with dynamic lens shift, I don’t have to fuss with settings for hours. My previous projector (An older Epson) I never liked the way the picture didn’t seem straight. I would have to place it perfectly at specific angles in order for it to even look decent. Not with the XGIMI, it just works!

Awesome Projector.
The best thing about it is the brightness. Your room doesn’t have to be completely dark for it to work. Although, the darker the room, the better the experience!

Best projector under $3000
Best projector under $3000. Blacks are deep blacks, colors are vibrant. Fan noise is much quieter than I was expecting for over 5000 lumens.The brightest setting however isnt worth using as the picture becomes very green. But thats how these triple laser projectors achieve such high lumens.I would buy this againEven with all my can lights on full brightness this projector is bright enough to use

This projector’s OS, 3D playback, Black Enhancement and Wifi need work…
Please make sure you check playback and compatibility with all the apps you use. Unfortunately, it seems XGIMI may have an app compatibility issue with all of Disney apps, Disney+, HBO Max, Hulu, Etc… the picture stutters and goes from sharp to blurry constantly. Also, the Fandango at home app may not be compatible because although I have purchased 4KUHD movies; I could only play them in SD in the projectors OS, (I actually recorded those issues and posted the on youtube for tech support to see). I actually proved the OS to be the issue by connecting a Shield Pro on HDMI 2 input and all the aforementioned apps worked as intended. Also, the 3D feature menu was never available even when feeding it 3D signal and all I ever got is what you see in the pictures. Additionally, after a few days away from home when I turned on the projector it no longer recognized my Wifi even when entering the correct password repeatedly.Another very discouraging inability was that of lowering the light output while using black level enhancement… it cannot be done! I really wanted to like this projector and tried giving it a fair try; However, all of the aforementioned issues make it hard to keep.Tech support was good and tried to figure the app issues but could only come up with turning motion enhancement to high for the Disney apps, and they had no answer for the Fandango issue. Hopefully in the near future they will be able to work out all the bugs and I will gladly try it again.

Disappointed
The excessive fan noise during operation proved to be a significant distraction. The game mode with VRR resulted in an unplayable resolution and color. While the color, contrast, and sharpness were acceptable, some of their older models offer superior performance. At this price point, there are significantly better alternatives available.

the picture quality is amazing, the sound is amazing the os is smooth…the adjsutment options are insane lens shift optical zoom, in game mode there is not input lag.. 4 k looks crisphas 2 hdmi with earc which is greatwish it had airplay as well for ios devices the price is premium but the picture is well worth itif you dont care about 1ms response time can go for horizon Smaxoh and brightness is insanely good….. with day light and yellow fall ceiling light on its still really brightcolours are insanely good in anime as wellone pain point is this projector is 1.20 outside with lots of deals but for a 120 inch screen this good and 1 ms its ok

I’ve been using the XGIMI Horizon 20 for a while now, and overall I’m really impressed. The picture quality and brightness are outstanding. It is easily one of the best in this price range. Colors look vibrant, details are sharp, and the brightness holds up well even in rooms that aren’t completely dark.The only concern I’ve had so far is with the Google TV OS, which still has a few bugs and occasional glitches. Nothing major, but it does affect the smoothness sometimes.Apart from that, this projector is one of the best in the market right now. I Highly recommend if you want great visuals and performance.
