The best inexpensive projector
If you’ve ever bought one of those cheap temp-brand projectors here, you’ll know that they do not last and they’re not very bright.This projector, on the other hand, is high quality. It’s a known brand, and it shows with this projector. The brightness is top-tier. The image quality is great.I spent too much time researching, and if you’re reading this and wondering why you might spend more money, it’s for the quality, quiet fan (especially on Eco mode), and a nice remote that works well. Get this one if you want a projector that is bright and will last.

Bright, sharp, easy-to-use
Wanted a projector bright enough to be visible in a south facing room with lots of windows before sunset. We had an older projector that wasn’t usable until it was dark out and the lights were off.This one is so much brighter – visible even in late afternoon with the sun blazing into the giant wall of windows.Setup was easy, and the dial for sizing and the focus ring are super easy to use. Picture is sharp and clear.Unit is silent.Recommended for a reasonably priced projector.

Bright – works well even with a lot of ambient light
I will be projecting in a couple of weeks in a dining hall where the entire west end is a glass wall (with no shades or curtains), so there is a lot of ambient light – especially after our noon lunch!I received the projector, unboxed it (it was well packed, including two batteries for the remote), powered it up and was rewarded with a nice bright display. (After powering up, wait about 20 seconds for the full brightness. Also – you can make it even more bright and increase contrast and sharpness through the on-screen menus.)Very basic adjustable feet allow fairly limited vertical/tilt movement of the projector. You may need to use books or other objects if you need it aimed more upwards or downwards.Keystone corrections worked well. At different vertical angles of the projector, I was able to use the digital keystoning to get the image squared up with no problems. (I use a portable projector stand which allows me to pan and tilt the stand and projector easily.)Optical zoom and focus worked well – I tested and got about a nice 9-foot-wide display on a screen with the projector located about 15 feet back from the screen. Based on my very quick and rough testing, for about every 3 feet of horizontal displayed data on the screen, you need the projector to be about 5 feet from the screen.I used an HDMI connection to my laptop as the source, and got very good, clean and sharp displays.Back to the brightness – I tested this in our dining room at 1 PM where the entire wall behind the projector was glass with no drapes or other shading, and the weather was clear and very sunny. The picture was quite clear and definitely bright enough for my audience in a couple of weeks.I am keeping the box, as it is a good size for carrying the projector – otherwise I would need to get a padded bag to carry it.The projector itself is quite light and easy to pull out of the box one-handed and set on the projector stand or table.

Since it can’t do what I need it to do for my dad I have to return 🙁
My dad needed something in his office to be able to project from a laptop with clients. I almost went with a cheap projector but then after a little research I realized I would need a more expensive one so he could project with the lights on. I found this, and from photos and reviews it looked perfect. Especially the part that says, “Packed with 3,600 lumens and a high contrast ratio, this projector produces bright images in nearly any environment.” However …. it just doesn’t really work how we need it to. When the lights are on you can see the picture, but it is too faint. With the lights off this projector is beautiful. Sadly, that’s not what it is needed for.Even worse, I went through the trouble of ordering a tripod projector screen, projector stand, laser pointer, etc. And now they all have to be returned. I think he will be better off just connecting his laptop to a TV through HDMI so that it will be clear, bright, and not faint with the lights on.If my apartment wasn’t so small I would love to have this to project movies on the wall! Also super cool is from other reviewer’s photos where they project movies outside. So all in all, this is an amazing projector. Except that it cannot show clearly with the lights on. From the description I thought that would be possible. Since it can’t do what I need it to do for my dad I have to return 🙁

Owned for 6 years, no issues and still great quality.
For the price, the quality is amazing. We use this for our home theater. It casts about 16 ft to fill a 110 inch screen. The HD is good, with vibrant colors. The refresh ratio is a little on the slow side for modern equipment, but only noticeable if you are looking for that specifically. All normal watching it’s not a big deal. I do find that reds are a little off. Seems to have a brightness to them that other colors don’t do. I’ve had this for 6 years and haven’t had an issue yet. We don’t have to go the theater anymore since we have one at home. Even better we have a pause button. Take that AMC lol

Ich habe lange recherchiert, um in der Preisklasse einen guten Beamer zu bekommen. Dabei bin ich auf den PA503W gestoßen. Die Marke ist mir aus meinem Berufsleben von Monitoren her bekannt, was mich schon Vertrauen aufbauen ließ. Und ich bin nicht enttäuscht worden. Natürlich gibt es immer offene Wünsche. Andere Modelle haben einen oder gleich mehrere Kartenslots, das hat er nicht. Auch kann man keinen USB-Stick anschließen, denn er hat nur eine Mini-USB-Schnittstelle, über die kein Signal eingespeist werden kann. Dafür hat er aber alle sonst heute gängigen Schnittstellen, wie HDMI, VGA, COM und Video über Cinch. Für mich war wichtig, den Amazon Fire-TV Stick anschließen zu können, das funktioniert hervorragend.Die Auflösung von 1024 x 800 (HD 720p) bringt er und er projiziert das Bild vollflächig scharf. Der Trapezausgleich funktioniert in einem großen Bereich. Das Lüftergeräusch, gemessen aus 1 Meter Entfernung beträgt 25-27 dB, ist also auszuhalten. Die Farbwiedergabe kann nach Untergrund, z. B. Tafelgrün eingestellt werden, auch sind die Farben und der Gammawert nachträglich regelbar.Der Beamer wird unter den 10 besten Videoprojektoren genannt, eignet sich aber auch gut für Präsentationen.Ob er 3D-Filme wiedergeben kann, kann ich nicht beurteilen, dazu fehlt mir die zugehörige Technik, das war für mich aber auch kein Kaufargument.Von der Bauform her kann er mit LED-Geräten nicht mithalten. Wen stört, dass das Gerät auch einige Zeit zum Abkühlen braucht, der sollte sich zu LED-Technik hinwenden.Von mir gibt’s volle Punktzahl, weil das Gerät alles macht, wofür ich ihn mir zugelegt habe, und ich kann den Beamer nur empfehlen.

El proyector ofrece buena imagen nítida y brillante. Los colores se ven muy bien incluoso en lugares iluminados. Lo único que no me gustó es que el sonido no es muy bueno y no trae entrada para USB, sólo micro USB y hay que comprar un adaptador pero eso no es problema. El proyector vale la pena. Yo soy maestro de inglés y lo compré para dar mis clases. Estoy fascinado. Lo recomiendo mucho además de que es buena marca es muy funcional. Excelente inversión. Gracias Amazon usa
