After working as a designer for a famous toy brand for 32 years and became Grandpa, Ged started to review hundreds of toys designed by himself over the past few decades.Soon, he found the problem: Most toys are designed with the need for parents to buy a gift for their kids. Rather than considering the needs of kids, such as what life experiences,joy,and knowledge they can gain from the toy. So Ged and his colleagues co-founded VANLINNY in 2013.
During the past ten years, Ged has traveled to more than 20 countries, shared his designs with the local children,and received their feedback. VANLINNY’s toys are produced by factories in China, Vietnam, Singapore, and India. To find the most healthy raw materials and strict manufacturing process, Ged visited hundreds of factories. Good Value
This robot is fast! Accelerates very quickly and well made for the price point. Tons of fun, and all parts were included with good instructions. Only thing I wish was better was the arm and grip strength of the rover. It has a hard time supporting the weight of any picked up object over around .5-1lbs

Great time building and playing.
My 9 year old thoroughly enjoyed building this. The instructions are clear and it works amazing. The battery compartment has to be unscrewed to remove and recharge the battery. Overall, definitely worth the time and price.

Perfect Robot for Sibling Mischief
I got this robot for my son, who loves to mess with his little sister (she always leaves her toys everywhere). It’s honestly the best thing I’ve ever gotten him. The best part? It’s not loud at all, so he can sneak around the house and swipe her stuffed animals when she isn’t looking.It moves quickly and quietly, and was super easy to assemble. Now, he can grab her toys without her noticing, which makes for some pretty hilarious moments. If you’re looking for a fun way to get back at a sibling (in a totally harmless way), this robot is perfect!

It’s nice so far. Works and runs as advertised. The true test will be when my nephew gets ahold of it. He’s into rc cranes, dozens dump trucks.

Great customer service
My dad purchased this for my son as a gift. When it arrived, everything looked great. The instructions were a little challenging to understand at first, but after some time and problem-solving, my son started to get the hang of it. (In hindsight, the challenge was probably a good thing—it encouraged him to think more deeply about how the parts fit and work together.)While connecting the JST-XH connector wire to the control board, he accidentally damaged the connector. I reached out to the VANLINNY Store for help, feeling a little apprehensive since I wasn’t the original purchaser. To my surprise, their customer service was outstanding! They quickly sent us what appeared to be a previously returned robot kit. It was missing the control board, but it included all the other parts—most importantly, the piece my son had broken.Since then, my son has been combining pieces from both kits, creating his own adaptations, and his love for building and engineering has only grown deeper. We’re so grateful for this experience and the excellent support we received!
