I have not had this router long but I have had it long enough to say if you wanna unleash you internet connection’s full potential this will do it! I will admit in the past I have used cheaper routers but after getting 1 gig fiber internet I decided to invest in a more premium router. This is my first ever TP-Link router…always been a Netgear fan but decided on this one after reading reviews and watching how easy it is to set up. You can use either TP’s tether app or you can do it manually using a computer. Before purchasing I viewed several You-tube videos on setting it up and it really was easy. And as for increasing my speed it did! I will say you get what you pay for when you spend that little extra for a good router! I am hoping to get many years out of it. I work from home and rely on connecting to a computer back at an office, opening and downloading large files, I stream a lot of video on my smart tv and just browse the internet. On my tablet I get speeds of 800mps and on my hardwired computer I get speeds of 1 gig! All of which i didnt get with my old router!

Hello there shoppers, I don’t usually write a lot of reviews, but this is one worth writing about. Like most people I read a lot of them and you just never know which ones are accurate. Well let me just say that this router is way better than the one that I was renting from Spectrum. I didn’t even realize that I was paying to rent one until recently so I decided to buy one. After doing a little research and reading some reviews I settled on this one and I’m glad I did. If you are looking for a new one (which I’m guessing you are if you’re reading this review) look no further, this is a great product. TP-Link BE9700 WiFi Router
Sometimes, it’s difficult to get your mind around the tech jargon and wifi routers and modems can be the worst. I tried to keep it simple and to just buy a newer model that provides some tech longevity. I asked my internet service provider for some makes and models they know works with their internet service and TP-Link was recommended. I wanted to buy a system where I could extend the wifi range and bought the Tri-Band BE 9700 Wifi 7 Router. Firstly, it is quite big so make sure you have a space to put it. The set up was very simple but it’s always best to download the manual before you buy to ensure you can understand the setup instructions before you commit the money. I have been running this router for a few weeks now and it works very well. No setup issues and, coupled with a TP-Link range extender, reaches all of my property. Very happy with the product from both an operation perspective and build quality. I certainly recommend the TP-Link BE9700.

Decent connection range
I’m giving this four stars because I’m not really seeing an increase in my Wi-Fi range. I work from home and primarily wanted to boost the signal to my upstairs home office but I’m not noticing a significant difference. Otherwise, it does have great security features in a stable connection. I’m using my AT&t modem with IP pass through and I’ve turned off the AT&t Wi-Fi to avoid any natting concerns.

Easy to set up with tec support.
I’m not technically savvy, so I called the help line and got Roezelle Ubalde. She was great. She walked me through the whole process of setting up my new router. I was up and running in no time. The Wifi speed is great and the signal strength is fantastic, no longer need to use wifi extenders. The router is compatible with my existing modem and all my streaming apps are faster than ever. If you are not technically savvy, I recommend you call for help and you will be amazed how easy it is to set up. Thanks again Roezella.

No issues on WiFi and wired
I already had a decent TP Link router and this is overkill for what I need, but I picked it up since there was a deal for under $100. I’ve always used TP Link and never had any issues.WiFi connection gets about 160 mbps which is more than enough and no issues with streaming videos on multiple devices at the same time. Wired speeds are great. I currently have Xfinity with a 600 mbps plan and I consistently get 730 mbps.I originally got this router since I planned to get GFiber but realized Webpass isn’t great for gaming which I prioritize. Overall, TP Link has never given me issues. Easy to set up with the app and connectivity stays consistent.

As fiber is starting to become more prevalent, this little gem is a smoker. I’m getting transfer speeds around 2.8GBPS down and almost 3.0GBPS up on my 2.0gbps line (because they are all overprovisioned). And if you have gigbit router, you wont’ see those speeds. Easy to setup, was able to use my older router as a mesh network access point – whole house covered with gigabit and I mean FULL gigabit coverage.
