If you are considering ordering READ THIS REVIEW….!!! If you are skeptical of the concept, read!
Before buying this product ask yourself what is your use case… Work? Traveling? A friend? A gift? Depending on what your looking for I suggest reading my experience just to gain a better understanding of what your getting.I personally use this for my work. I sell phones at a boost mobile, and about 60% of our customer base is latino. I bought this in hopes of making communication easier when translation is not available. I needed to be able to have a meaningful back and forth conversation while being transparent as well as establishing a connection with different customers. I needed something that would be as close to a natural conversation as possible.Did it meet everything I needed? Let’s go through the main points.-Sound quality is decent. It’s not the best but not the worst. It really doesn’t need to be anything special, it’s just talking. As far as what you hear, the voices aren’t terrible, they sound decent and don’t make you annoyed just by hearing them. There’s a beta AI feature that I like that conveys more emotion in the speaking while online.-Battery life is completely respectable. It lasts a week while in use the days I’m working (4-6 days a week) or about 30-40 hours worth of shifts. I take the earbuds out of the case when people walk in, as I encounter a lot more than just spanish. I only use them about a 1/3rd of the time so maybe 11 hours of actual use ish a week. With the charging case though this is no issue. I’m not sure I could imagine someone being able to kill the battery from full very quickly. Earbuds can stay out of the case for a while too.-Accuracy to be completely blunt is about 85% of the time correct. It’s I’d say about 30-35% more effective than google translate. While sure 85% doesn’t sound like it justifies the price, I think it really does. Because when it gets things wrong it may be a small word or a missing/random word, I’d say you get the picture about 95-100% of the time. It makes your intentions clear even if your words were slightly incorrect. It blew my mind and made me able to sell phones to people in different languages. It’s already paid back itself honestly so I can’t complain at all.-Speed of translation is varying, when you areon online mode speed of translation is zippy as heck! Online mode is slightly more delayed but more accurate. Also if you order ONLY get the offline ones. You get free credits in the app and can download 2-3 languages. It saves you money unless you want more languages.So overall if you’re a consumer looking for something cool, make sure you have a decent use scenario or else you may have it sitting around for a while. Otherwise if you like the concept, check out the Timekettle ZERO. It’s much more affordable but no earbuds.If you want to use it for work and have a definite use case for them. GET THEM. Try them for a couple weeks and if you don’t like it return them. But for me it changed my work, if you see yourself talking to a lot of people and want to establish greater connections, give them a shot. You won’t regret it even if it isn’t 100% accurate 100% if the time. It gets the job done and is very personable.If you’ve already decided you want it, get the ZERO too! It usually comes at a super discounted or free price when you get the earbuds. Then you can have a different range of conversations as multiple people can get involved.

Failed in every situation
These earbuds are a brilliant idea, but not ready to be sold to the consumer. They still require much more alterations to correct their discrepancies. I purchased two sets of these earbuds in early September 2023. I found the volume of the first set to be very low. With the volume adjusted to its maximum level, it was still very low. Another problem I encountered was that they were translating our words and phrases into other words and phrases that were not even close to what we were saying. I contacted Timekettle on a Friday and questioned them on this. I told them I was leaving for Thailand the following Wednesday and purchased these earbuds for that trip. They told me they would look into an expedited replacement for me. They also told me that they are closed on weekends, so it wouldn’t be until Monday before I heard anything about it. It is now October 5 and I have yet to hear from them on this. Be it that I was running out of time, I purchased a second set. Unfortunately, the second set was no better. It was performing exactly the same way as the first set. I wanted these earbuds to work for me and gave them every opportunity to do so, but they failed me in every situation. They failed me in a quiet and also a not so quite restaurant. They failed me while outdoors, and they even failed me in a quiet hotel room. They would commonly translate only a portion of what was said. The biggest problem of all, as mentioned previously is that they would translate words and phrases that were so greatly different from what was said that it was comical. It is good for us that google translate was available. We found ourselves resorting to that every time. We eventually gave up on the earbuds. Additionally, the storage case can be very difficult to open. I struggled with it many times. The buds do not fit well into the ear. I found myself constantly moving them to get as much clarity and volume from them as I could. They move within the ear while in use and require a lot of readjusting. I often found myself cupping my ear with my hand to help me hear what was being said. Be it that I returned the second set as well, I would not recommend purchasing this item. I hope Timekettle can eventually correct these discrepancies, because if they can perfect this item, it would be such an amazing tool for translating conversations.

Hands Down the best Translation devises in the market!
We are a international company with employees in both the US and EU, we had one dedicated person that would translate between English and Hungarian, Unfortunately our English human translator also lacked a bit in his knowledge of the English language. I looked at various translation products and pinned it down to the Timekettle. We have been evolving with Timekettle as they have produced some really great products throughout the years. Our first product from them was these WT2 earbud translator devise. The fit was great and comfortable, lightweight and had no issues with connecting with my iPhone Bluetooth. The accuracy of the translation was awesome and we really never had any issues with them. Like I said we evolved with them as a company as we continued to purchase there latest and greatest products. We also purchased the Timekettle T1 handheld unit as my colleagues found it a bit more better fit due to the many features like being able to translate a document on the fly and also the plus of using the T1 Translator as a just listen unit where you can just place it on auto mode in case you where just listing and not having a conversation. We then last year purchased there W4 Pro AI Interpreter Earbuds and WOW!!! these for us have been the best ones so far! seamless translation. Overall if your looking for the best translation product in the market, I have done the research and testing for you. You will not be disappointed, I guarantee! they also have great customer service if you need help with the setup. Timekettle really stands buy there products.

This is such an impressive tool for communication.The wireless earphones are charged and stored with a discrete and sleek pod that is easy for travel and to slip into a pocket or bag.The wireless earpods are a good size and fit comfortably in the ear. They are labelled with R and L to show which war they should be used in and this also is used to identify the earpiece related to a particular language. There is a light on the side that let’s you know when they are charged or in use.The earphones are used with an app called Timekettle, which can be downloaded on the Play or Apple store app. It has very clear directions to connect and use the earphones and also tells you the percentage of battery that is remaining on each earpiece. The earpiece is both a speaker and microphone, and in addition has a touch pad facility that allows you to control the translations and focus using the touch buttons on the side of the earpiece.The app gives a range of ways to use the app including listening to others and translating, listening in one language and translating to another or a two way conversation that is translated in real time. The app also serves as a visual form of communication too. It has very easy to understand and follow instructions, and is visually very easy to use and works quickly.The sound is very clear and I was also impressed with the accuracy of the sounds that thw microphone picked up. There is a large selection of different languages to select and translate from/into so very useful for travelling and communication in a range of situations.This device is quite pricey but would easily balance the cost with the exceptional ability and convenience in being able to communicate so quickly and easily with a range of people in a range of locations.There are so many ways that this device could help in different situations, from multi-cultural business meetings; travel, either business or pleasure; communicating in schools with non-English speaking students; communicating with a neighbour whose first language is not English, etc.The ease and speed of being able to set up and use this device opens such a range of possibilities of use. Very impressed- this is the future of communication.
