[Good Heat Dissipation] The CPU cooling is mainly composed of a digital version of a dual tower + double fans + a magnetic top cover. The 6 pure copper heat pipes and the pure copper base can well contact the temperature of the CPU, with the combination of a high speed of 1850RPM, the radiator has a good heat dissipation effect
[CPU Cooler Specifications] Model: Peerless Assassin 120 Digital Black, overall size: 138x125x162mm, fan size: 120x120x28mm, fan speed: 1850RPM+10%, wind pressure: 2.21mm H2O, air volume: 88.89CFM, operating noise: ≤25.6DB (A), fan power supply interface: 4PIN PWM, the radiator is equipped with dual fans with S-FDB bearings, which have the characteristics of long life and can ensure long-term heat dissipation of the cpu radiator
[AGHP Heat Pipe Technology] The 6X6mm heat pipe adopts the 5.0 version of AGHP technology, which can solve the inverse gravity effect caused by standing/lying. The pure copper heat pipe is combined with the base of the precision reflow soldering micro-carved copper bottom, targeting the characteristics of the new generation of dual-platform heating, and optimizes the heat dissipation performance of the dual-platform
[162mm Height] The overall height of the heatsink cooler is 162mm, which is compatible with mainstream ATX chassis. The radiator adopts an overall black style, and the digital display board design of the magnetic top cover opens up a new world of heat dissipation, combining the high heat dissipation function of the radiator with innovative technology. The overall design of the dual tower and dual fans is compatible with the installation of high-capacity memory and graphics cards
[Wide Compatibility] The cpu cooling is compatible with platforms: AMD: AM4/AM5 and LGA1851/1700/1150/1151/1155/1156/1200, and comes with dual-platform mounting clips, which can be well installed on the corresponding platform. It can be installed according to the instructions or installation tutorial. (Note: The installation of the AMD platform requires the use of the original backplane of the motherboard, which is not included with this product)

Use Push-Push Configuration to avoid High pitch whistle
I bought this on prime day to cool my 12700KF and I couldn’t be happier. Cinebench 30 min stability test maxed out the CPU at 90c @ a steady 203 watts. While gaming it stays at a cool 50-60c. I left the cpu stock(no undervolt or overclock). I saw reviews saying that this cooler causes a high pitch noise and I did have that when I used a pull-pull configuration because I have Corsair Vengance Rgb Pro ddr4 ram which are really tall. Once I changed it back to push-push the noise was gone. Actually, what was very astonishing was I ended up just using the one fan in the middle with a push configuration and I got the same exact temps as I did with both fans. Chalk it up to maybe my NZXT H5 flow has good airflow…I dunno. It is a very big cpu cooler so make sure it fits your case. I was looking at getting the other versions of the Peerless Assassin however I went with this one mainly because of the clearance the heatsink has with really tall ram. This one is 60mm whereas the OG or the SE are only 51mm. It shouldn’t matter much if you run two sticks of ram as you are most likely using dimm slots that are not right next to the heatsink, but I am using all 4 slots so this height mattered to me. Either way if you do use a push-push config and if your ram is tall the fan will sit on top of it. I’ve seen people say they use this cooler with much higher tdp cpu’s, I would not recommend it as I have very good airflow in my case and I maxed at 90c. Honestly, a 200w tdp or less and this cooler will do fine.

Great cooling, great looks, great price
If you want air cooling you cannot go wrong with this choice. It does a fantastic job of cooling at a great price. I wasn’t confident in my thermal paste job but since you can see the temp right there on the display it’s great for peace of mind.It also looks awesome. There are a bunch of color options for both the temperature readout and the fan RGB.The one downside is that I have not been able to find software that operates the temperature readout in Linux. It works just fine in Windows. If you are running Linux alone, there’s a slightly cheaper version that doesn’t show the temperatures that may be for you.I’m very happy with it and absolutely would buy it again.

Solid. Low noise. Good temps. Reliable.
If you want an air cooler, this is the one to get. Costs very little but works very well. Ten thousand diyers cannot be wrong. Have used it twice without any problem including on a 13th gen I9 as well as an AMD 9 9900. If you want it to display cpu and gpu temperatures, pay $10 for the clip-on LED screen.

Amazing cooling, beautiful design, minor cable and noise issues.
The Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 Digital ARGB Black is absolutely stunning — it looks great in my case and instantly upgraded the aesthetic. But more importantly, it brought my Ryzen 5 5600X temps way down. Under 100% load, I’m hitting just 67°C, which is impressive. There are a couple of small issues that cost it a star: one of the power cables arrived partially unplugged from the connector — I had to gently push it back in to get proper contact. Also, once the fans go above 40% speed, there’s a noticeable buzzing sound. It’s not super loud and you can get used to it, but it’s there. That said, the cooling performance is excellent even at that 40% fan speed, which is the speed I used to get that temps so overall I’m very satisfied.

    Cold cpu
I was having a lot of problems with air bubbles in my AIO system so I changed to air cooling and this one has my CPU colder than ever. I love the temperature reading right on the CPU cooler. Very big CPU cooler definitely gonna have to have a lot of room in the case for it might have to make some adjustments.

    Best on the market.
I would pay much more for this cooler. I’m running a Intel Core Ultra i7 265K and a RTX 4080 Super and my system hasn’t had any heating issues, even with my cpu overclocked. You don’t need to waste money of those liquid coolers. The display software is simple and easy to use.

    Software/driver is buggy
Cools well, even without outer fan (core ultra 7 265k). Fits in NZXT H6 Flow case. Software for the panel is buggy. Screen turns off when CPU is under load and shows error in USD devices (in Device Management). You can go to Device Management and disable/enable the device and it works again, but this is not good. I don’t do this every time so most of the time the screen is off until pc restart. -1 star for the software/driver and -1 star for plastic backplate. Overall good value. I don’t want to disassemble the system so decided to keep it.

    It works
The software is so simple there’s almost no point in using it. The noise level is ok, very quiet when the CPU is not under load. The rgb lights are nice even though you can’t change them as far as I know.

If you are looking for a cooler with temperature display for any cpu upto i7 14700f then this is the best one to keep it under 70-75 at high utilisation and around 30 idle and 45-55 at mid usage. In short it’s value for money, easy to install, best performance at this price, over all of you need a cooler at 5k go for this one ✅

Fans and heatsink are great. The thermal past that comes with it is terrible. Also, the software to control the display is bloaty and bad.
