Bang for buck here I
I bought this for use with the emulation on my steam bag in mind. It was a great car compatible with the steam deck and it had great quality the speeds that it pushes our pretty optimal and it works absolutely well.

S.M.A.R.T. monitoring on a microsd
I had bought a Samsung EVO 1TB microsd to use in my Samsung Galaxy S20 smartphone, and what do you know, it failed in just over a year. I paid extra for the Samsung brand thinking I would get Samsung quality (to match my smartphone) but no such luck.So as a replacement, for about half the price I got this TeamGroup T-CREATE 1TB microsd with S.M.A.R.T. What that means is that it monitors wear leveling and potential failures at the firmware level. Although there doesn’t appear to be a S.M.A.R.T. tool for Android, I’d be able to periodically use TeamGroup’s Windows tool to check the microsd health in a USB card reader. I just downloaded the tool from TeamGroup’s website and it works perfectly on Windows 11. Now I have peace of mind that I’d know well in advance of a potential failure so I don’t lose any data. Thank you TeamGroup for coming up with a more robust storage solution that a juggernaut like Samsung failed to do.

Great for Steam Deck
This SD card seems plenty fast for my Steam Deck needs. Added storage at a great price. It was recognized and formatted and I had a game ready to go within a matter of 30 min. Write speeds seem just as fast as the internal SSD, as well as in-game load times not suffering at all. It just does what it should. I’ll probably be ordering another one once this one fills up!

Transcript honors their lifetime warranty. ! Well done.
Cards work well. I’ve had them now for a year in my outdoor cameras. One failed, team group had sent a replacement. I have not tried the replacement to date.

Terrible lag with insta 360 x5
I got this card as it was 1TB and v30, it says it has read write speed upto 100MBps. I am unable to get this speed with my computer, I have tried multiple card readers, multiple USB slots. The worst part is, insta 360 takes forever to store video on this and I lost atleast 4 videos because of the read speed error. The UI asked me to format it and see if that fixes the problem. But it didn’t. I am using exFAT.Good part about the 1TB was that it has 921 GB and you don’t need to worry about storage. I wonder if we are ready for 1TB micro sd cards. They did not include any adpater, so maybe that would help if they included something for better speeds. It is a regular microSD card, easy to install.

T-Create Expert S.M.A.R.T. – a solid option with a great perk
TL:DR – a quality microSD card with great flash at a great price, the software is easy to use and install, it provides a very important useful stat but doesn’t offer much else. Like other Teamgroup microSD cards, doesn’t always play well with UHS-ii readers (at least Kingston ones anyway). A lifetime warranty is always a bonus!Video connected to this review highlights a write test for video .mp4 (2.5GB) and ~800 test photos 300KB-1MB in size and about 500KB average size.I want to preface this by saying I am very happy to see *someone* try and take S.M.A.R.T. reading seriously in the SD/MicroSD card space, a space previously reserved solely for ridiculously priced Industrial SD/MicroSD cards. I hope to see both more cards supporting S.M.A.R.T. and more customers supporting it. It can mark the difference in whether you can save your files or not and seeing how much wear is on your flash is important to knowing its longevity!Teamgroup has definitely achieved something great with their T-Create line. These cards are fast, and the NAND Flash appears to be of a consistent and high quality (see pictures for reference). The construction of the card is good, and I’m even impressed with the microSD to SD Adapter, with a nice quality to the adapter and high resolution printed on label, not just a cheap sticker.PROS:*Affordable*Fast*Quality NAND Flash*S.M.A.R.T. feature*Lifetime Warranty*Quality Construction*Nice packaging and not too hard to openCONS:*Very basic S.M.A.R.T. reporting, but way better than nothing.*microSD card’s controller doesn’t always play well with UHS-ii readers.Formatted size approximately 115GB.SPEEDS: CrystalDiskMark (4GB test size)Transcend 3.0 Reader —READ: 96.33 MB/sWRITE: 83.78 MB/sSamsung uSD 3.0 Reader —READ: 95.60 MB/sWRITE: 82.27 MB/sKingston UHS-ii Reader* —READ: 31.45-173.71 MB/s*WRITE: 93.33MB/sAll next tests are done with Transcend 3.0 USB Reader.DiskGenius Bad Sector Verification:This tests the latency of blocks and checks for damaged blocks.RESULTS: 15041 good blocks, no bad blocks. Software:Can be downloaded from Teamgroup’s website. Easy to install. Just hit refresh and it will tell you how much life your card has. I assume it reads the amount of times the card’s NAND flash has been written to and extrapolates the expected lifespan of the card from this data.*sometimes the UHS-ii reader will read slowly, sometimes it reads at maximum speed. I’ve found this to also occur in Teamgroup’s PRO+ line. This really isn’t important for the average person however, very few readers are UHS-ii, and with the adoption of SD Express, it won’t be the future either. It could also be a problem with the Kingston UHS-ii specifically interacting with teamgroup’s lineup as well, other UHS-ii readers might work fine.
