As we all know, batteries naturally drain power and if allowed to go flat, may never regain their full power. This product is a solar powered battery maintainer and charger for 12V batteries and helps manage battery drain in all season. The solar charger converts light energy from the sun into 12 volt DC electricity which is then transported to the rechargeable batteries through lead wire and connector of choice, replace the self-discharge of a battery in storage, so that the battery wouldn’t “go dead”. It can be used for cars, 4WD’s, trucks, motorcycle, marine, boats, farm equipment or any application where a 12V battery is used.
The high efficient solar panel allows to absorb a wider spectrum of sunlight, as long as there is sufficient sunlight available, the charger will generate an electrical current to trickle charge the battery. The charger is built in the most super-intelligent MPPT(Maximum Power Power Tracking) chip to intelligently charge and fully protect the battery. The MPPT technology helps to generate at least 20%-30% more power than traditional PWM. And the LED indicator helps better understand the charging status on all days.

Suner Solar Battery Panel Charger Arrived Broken
My wife bought me the Suner Solar Panel Battery Charger for my car. When I opened the package it was broken. I contacted Suner & let them know it was broken. I was very impressed how they handled my problem. They are sending me a new one free of charge. I was very impressed with their fast response & customer relations to resolve the problem for me. This solar panel is really good, quickly charges my sailboat battery for months now. Had an issue with some form of internal short (stop working) while Suner service is now sending me another one – great service and a solid product.

No screws included unlike the photo, also made in China. If I had known I wouldn’t have bought. I do my best to buy American made products when and where I can.Update I did find the screws in the package. I ended mounting on top of a container unit I keep my motorcycle in. Seemed to work ok. So I bought another due to having two motorcycles in the container. I’ll use these until the Spring season and I’ll build a metal frame and will replace with USA products.There made in China and I prefer to buy made in the USA.

Away for 5 weeks and battery kept charge
Works great!!! I was on vacation for 5 weeks and the solar charger had the battery working like I was never gone. Car started right up. Excellent product!!! FYI I had connected it to the OBD2 port.

UPDATE: So while these chargers are everything I said they were, if you use it inside of a car, the plastic warps and the whole thing falls apart. So maybe good in a place that never gets warm or you’re just going to use them outside (where they can be , but now feel cheated out stolen). I was once happy. but now feel cheated. DON’T BUY if you intend to keep INSIDE a car that gets a lot of sun! Yes I see the irony in that.Just got it, so don’t know about the reliability, but my research says this is a dependable unit. It was easy peasy to set up. One car I could use the cigarette lighter plug, but the other I had to hook up straight to the battery. You have to be mindful of how you set up the clamps in that case. The light signals are a bit funky (flashing green means the collector is make electricity, solid green mean the battery is done, solid red means n and flashing red mean it’s charging properly) so flashing red mean all good!This is a brilliant idea for people who have vehicles they don’t drive often.

It’s solid, waterproof, uses standard SAE connectors, and should produce around 1A of current which will easily maintain most inactive 12V batteries. Support is excellent, and quick to respond to questions or issues. I actually bought 2 of these kits to maintain multiple vehicle batteries, or anything else 12VDC, and so far so good. Recommended.

Works as advertised.I did find it odd that is does not come with the suction cups for windshield mounting though, not even listed in the manual.The main cord from the panel that the various other attatchemnt chords plug into is 10 feet long, so you probably won’t need any extenders.It is fairly beefy for the wattage, but if you want something smaller with the same power, price will increase steeply. I think this is a good deal.
