Hard to use compared to peq15
Okay, first you’ll notice is all the functions and modes 😂 it’s made in Germany. It is very confusing compared to the American peq15. I’m just going to have to get used to it, wasn’t going to complain because it works nice, definitely works better than a peq15 but will take a long time to get used to. You’ll need a second person to look bc you’ll not know when it’s viz vs non viz, the pressure pad and Modes are not clear like American ones. If it’s your first one go for it, If you’ve used American ones you’ll have a learning curve, it’s not as easy to understand but it’s better built and works further. German engineer good, German design confusing.

The Best Laser You Can Get!
This is the best laser you can buy. It is a Steiner, which says it all as far as quality goes. The visible and IR lasers are fantastic. This is a very compact and rugged unit. Under NVGs the IR laser and Illuminator are very bright. This unit has a lot more options for operation than any other on the market. Do your research and you will see. It seems expensive, but when you are looking for a laser with these kinds of capabilities, it is worth every penny! Besides, do you really want to trust your life to something that was cheap? No other laser even comes close.

Disappointing
I was unimpressed by this product and frankly surprised it was manufactured by Steiner. the visible laser was not very bright even at the highest setting. The IR laser was okay, but the IR illuminator was useless. Even at short distances, it was virtually impossible to see anything more than I could see with my Gen3 PVS-14. Also, the visible and IR lasers are supposed to be in sync when adjusted, but mine were off. But my biggest gripe was the pressure switch. it was a battle to get the double press to trigger the continuous on mode. I sent it back.

An essential piece of gear for a night vision shooter.
Having the built in illuminator makes a huge difference. Worth the extra money over the A2. If you buy the A2 you’re still going to spend $200-$300 on a separate IR flashlight. Just spend the money here on the DBAL A3 and get everything in one package.

Complete waste of money.
First the cable port started to pull out of thr unit. Which theu replaced. Now the laser wont hold a zero. It drifts every shot. Now they want $100 just to look at it. Quality sucks. Customer service sucks. I went and got a Holosun laser and it works the same as the DBAL for a fraction of the price. Has a better warranty. I guess thats what happens when Burris runs things.

A must have
Firm believer that you get what you pay for and Steiner products never disappoint. I have one of the offset models I purchased 17 yrs ago under their old brand name Laser Devices and still works as good as the day I bought it. I have no doubts this unit will perform the same.

Love it
Was in the market for an another IR Laser for another rifle, definitely as close as I could get to the one I presently have. Runs great and the battery has lasted a long time. On a side funny know… when I’m not out with it… makes for a hilariously expensive dog/ cat toy 🤣
