Definitely Not sending this back. Very good, versatile value speaker.
Ill update once I burn it in,, I was skeptical mostly because my cheap flat panel in my office hasn’t connected with any audio receivers I’ve tried. This speaker is plug and play, and running with a couple minutes. My TV still plays sound while the speaker is on, but it’s OK. Turned a weak flat panel and made is sound much better. Keep in mind the audio source pushing a speaker is a big part of the battle, and also need to let this ‘burn in’ for several days before passing real judgement. This speak helps my office tv signficantly, and I plan to use it for outdoor TV during sports season. It’s not an audiophile speaker, but for people that want better sound from lesser tv’s or larger speaker to bluetooth their phone to, this thing works. They offer a lifetime warranty, that’s impressive. The 90watt or bigger is a good choice as to not blow it and have better sound at higher volumes. Allows for fiber optic, hdmi, bluetooth and that tiny audio cable many receivers don’t accept, but tv’s still offer.. I’m definitely not sending this back.

Better than I thought it would be!
A couple of years ago I purchased a Samsung sound bar for our Samsung tv. For some reason it started getting static so we purchased a Bose and the sound was terrible. So we took it back and purchased another Samsung with rear speakers for about $400.00 and it started to have Static and had it for less than a month. For the 2nd time we took it back and got another one and within 2 days it just stopped working so it went back. So I decided to buy an off brand from Amazon for $60.00 called a assistrust 90 watt. I’m am surprised it sounds better than the Bose or the Samsung for less. So if you need a soundbar I highly recommend the Assistrust KY-2023!

UPDATE: Turned out it was the HDMI Arc output on my TV, not the sound bar. Plugged it into another TV and the HDMI Arc recognized the device immediately and started putting out some great sounds. I am updating the review to 4 stars, the sound quality is very good for its size and the bass is very rich. I still think the instructions are poor but after figuring it out I am very pleased woth tne outcome.ORIGINALREVIEW: This was very difficult to pair with my TV. My TV doesnt support Bluetooth, so I decided to use HDMI Arc cable to connect so I could just use the TV remote. After 2 hours of messing around with it I just gave up. I then tried the optic cable and it worked fine after only about 5 minutes of setup but I’ll always be stuck with 2 remotes. The remote for this is really bad, you have to push the buttons multiple times to get it to work. One thing that also disappointed me was that of you separate the speakers they have to be connected with a wiring harness that only comes with about 5 feet of cable. Doesn’t show this at all in the description. The overall sound quality is great and the Bluetooth is easy to pair to phone, so I did give ot 3 stars. Just had a bad experience setting it up, the directions are terrible, and I didnt really end up doing it the way I wanted.

Portable sound well worth the investment
I normally dismiss low-cost items such as this soundbar as too good to be true, but given I wasn’t looking to spend hundreds to amplify my laptop’s audio decided to roll the dice and spend the $90. Couldn’t be more pleased. Set up was intuitive, personally I preferred to split the bar for right/left standup speakers – speaker wire amble for a 4′ separation. While there is no equalizing ability, the speakers provide good treble to bass accommodation with a basic remote control. I would note that their is a slight lag in controlling the audio level with the remote but I’ve gotten used to it (no worse than the lag on my car’s steering wheel when adjusting my audio level). For the price you have ease of installation, solid sound quality in a compact system to take on the run. Got my money’s worth.
