I bought this as a project for my grandson to complete with his papa! It is perfect and so much fun for my grandson! It works and runs for hours on one charge. It was a great bonding experience for papa and grandson. If you’re looking for a great gift that will bring hours and hours of joy look no further. So worth all the money.

A lot of fun
Pros: Kid (who is picky about off-brand blocks vs LEGO) loves it. It’s a lot faster than we were expecting. Sometimes you can get it to wheelie and fall over. The tracks seem to be high quality unlike some other brands.Cons: the preprogrammed turns in Bluetooth mode are a bit overboard. Tell it to make a 90 and it spins in a circle. This makes the line drawing mode useless unless you want it to dance in circles. Some of the pieces have a pretty loose fit. We had to glue some pegs and replace others with LEGO pieces to keep the arms from falling off. Some of the pieces around the eyes require extra force and a little bending to get to stay in place. My 11 year old had to call on me to do those parts.Overall, well worth the price just for the motor with remote and BT function. It’s a cool model on top of that and a lot of fun.

I bought as a gift for my coworker’s son who is 9 years old. He loves it and I already received several videos from coworker that his son is playing with it.

This was bought for my now 9-year-old. He is very STEM oriented, and we thought this would be a nice intro for him into robotics and coding for a decent price.I will not complain about the build; he did it by himself in about an hour, including getting distracted watching his sister on the computer. The directions had pictures and were easy to follow. The only time he needed help was when he could not find a piece, which I helped find. The bags did not appear labeled, but I didn’t exactly look closely, as he wanted to do it himself. He built the dino/model C first, and it is about 10 inches tall.My complaint is in regards to the App. The product promotes the app and the capabilities of the bot through the app. NOWHERE does it mention that the app is not avaliable in the Google Play Store, (not sure about Apple), and requires an APK downloaded from a website written in Mandarin. That is super sketch and throws up red flags for me, so we will NOT be using it.A 4-star review, (found in the reviews from other countries in my view), a buyer from Canada lists the permissions the app requests. Most people just click through them when they want something, but take the time to read what you are agreeing to! The app jeopardizes personal privacy and security via your phone by bypassing the app store checkpoints, leaving it open to any bad actors that might use this app as a backdoor.Bottom line, for a cheap, build-it-yourself robot toy for you or your kid, this is an option. If you want one that you can actually use an app to control the bot without worrying too much about your data and security, I would look elsewhere, if you can afford it.

My grandson loved this toy. It wasn’t difficult to assemble. Once assembled he was so over the moon and so happy. He played with it for 2 hours straight.

Builds into a very nice model and while I only intended it for display I did test the electronics before starting the build and it worked fine.A couple of parts had minor mold flash but nothing to worry about.The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is that the price is a bit high for the number of parts but I’m happy with my purchase.Highly recommended.
