Durable toy for the rough boys
Perfect for a toddler of 4-5. It moves, sings, dances, read stories – but more importantly – is durable. My son grobs this robot by the head, neck, arms, legs … he’s rough with toys. So far, the toy has held up. Would have no hesitation in purchasing again.

Great robot for kids 3-8
I was really excited to get this robot for my kids. They were playing with it as soon as it was done charging. I would say it’s a great starter robot. Its quite simple, but still comes with a lot of features. He’s very well built. The robot dances, tells stories, and can move in all directions.What we didn’t like:- The robot functions best on smooth floors or rugs. So if you have a carpet that isn’t smooth, Carle will be falling all over the place.-The volume is LOUD. So if you’re sensitive to loud noises, be aware. There’s a volume control button on the remote controller that comes with the robot, but it doesn’t work very well. I have to push it several times before it registers that I’m trying to turn the volume up or down. All the other buttons work good. Just not the volume.We haven’t tested the Bluetooth function yet, but I will update my review as soon as I do. I don’t think I would purchase this robot again for the price, but as I said before it would make a great starter robot. I would say it’s best suitable for ages 3-8.

I got it on sale and I’m glad I did. Honestly: Don’t pay more than 100 bucks for it. Even though it’s trying to push that it’s educational there’s little to no programming or STEM educational content involved.Little kids might find it interesting for a while, although I don’t think it would survive them doing kid things very long. I do know the cat was unimpressed, which was a curious first.While it does has a lot of nifty features like voice command or bluetooth and the servos are decent, it’s just a remote control doll akin to a Teddy Ruxpin. One that uses an outdated usb and has sound clips questionably lifted from Daft Punk, Microsoft, and Star Wars all mixed in with a childish voice that uses broken English.While there is an app, the negative reviews made me reconsider trying it out.I look forward to eventually taking it apart but till then the novelty wore off faster than it took to charge it.

The robot was very low quality. For $200 I would have expected something more sturdy and solid. The remote control is flimsy, the USB port for charging couldn’t even work when I tried to charge it and so my Nephew was left without a gift to play with on Christmas day because we couldn’t get the robot to charge properly.
