Easy to set up
I’ve been using Roku players and remotes on most of my TVs for a few years so was familiar with the format and easy set up. I just had to add the device to my Roku account. I love the functionality on how all my apps can be arranged to my preferences on the home page. This new 43 inch had a special feature my other TVs didn’t have using the asterisk on the remote that could make adjustments including the picture and sound settings. I didn’t notice much difference in the 4K mode but don’t use it much on our other TV either. My main 65 inch TV has OLED or QLED so this Roku isn’t quite as good but I made some adjustments and used the sports settings to make the picture more vivid watching football. If I’m watching other programs people’s faces are a little too bright but it’s easy to switch the picture setting to the Roku smart setting or one of the other settings. The motion and sound quality are great! I ended up purchasing a pedestal base which was very easy to attach. The original legs are too far apart to fit where I wanted to put it.The TV seems well made and durable. I’m very happy with my purchase. I’m using it as a spare TV so my husband and I can watch multiple football games at the same time, like having our own sports bar! It will be used in the spare bedroom after football season.

Roku TV’s in 2025 are IMPRESSIVE. Do Not Look ELSEWHERE!!!
High quality 4k HDR at a great price. Two things though: see below. Absolutely couldn’t be happier with my 55” Pro tv. Dolby atmos & 120hz native is amazing at such a competitive price is awesome. 43” select 4k HDR is great too. Sound is not Atmos but it shouldn’t be either. For normal tv speakers, it’s clear & HIGH quality sound and it’s very impressive. I guess you hit the nail on the head in terms of quality vs price. Well done Roku!Couple things to improve to dominate the market over the next decade:1st, The Bluetooth headphone feature is fine but the downside is plenty of BT headphones, if you take them out of your ear for a moment and set them down, when you hit play on your paused roku tv will default to playing whatever music your phone was streaming in your car rather than playing the Roku tv you paused. Not a huge deal but a bit annoying as using corded headphones would be preferable rather than dealing with this annoying feature. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE or release an official list of compatible BT headphones that function better. Roku app also has issues connecting with my 43” Roku select tv regularly but has ZERO issues connecting to my 55” Roku pro tv. The 55” works EVERY time but the 43” is a constant game of clicking “connect to device” and it constantly times out. Just have to try it many times and restart the app many times and eventually it works. Yes, both tvs are fully updated. Might be looking into buying an older Roku remote with the corded headphones jack?? Maybe that’s the real solution and roku could list that in Q&A to customers.2nd, I wish they produced the Pro line in a 43” or 50”. Or somewhere in the middle. I’d pay the same price for a 43” as the 55” (insanely competitive regardless) as some rooms simply don’t look good with a 55” as it is TOO big for the space. I get it though, the market likely doesn’t support it. So this 43” is WONDERFUL to fit the bill. I am a happy customer and completely SOLD on Roku finally producing their own in-house tv line. IT’S ABOUT TIME!!! Keep the quality up, use focused advertising and you will continue to grow your market share over the next decade. Do NOT go towards Google tv and try to grow that way by getting greedy and integrating all devices, data sharing, etc. I didn’t go Google tv OS specifically for this reason. Use this fact in marketing to your advantage. Data privacy matters and there is a way to sell this product that refuses to sacrifice customer privacy. I think I want to work for Roku at this point. They’re onto something!

BETTER THAN EXPECTED – SO INTUITIVE 🙂
Originally upon setting out to buy a second Samsung in addition to the one that we have in another room, I was looking at the tv’s on Amazon and that other store (W*lmart). Over the course of a couple of days, upon comparing tv’s, and reading reviews, I decided to do the “why not, let’s try this tv”. – Add to cart, submit purchase and confirmation of delivery came upon my screen and buyer’s remorse kicked in. I felt like maybe I should have just bought a Samsung as originally planned…Two days later, we received the new Roku tv. My daughter and I took it out of the box (I needed some assistance as it was having a “suction” effect with the styrofoam packaging). Then, I took it from there. I removed all the papers and screwed in the feet/stands (those were a bit “awkward” to screw in – just didn’t seem to be very flush, however, it worked out nonetheless).I stood the tv up and placed it on the space of our entertainment center where the tv goes – did I mention that it’s light too! :)My daughter had removed the piece from the remote control that says to remove in the instructions and if I haven’t seen it all myself : the wifi was easily configured, went to the home page and had all out apps on the home page, including the Prime app!I did have to add the MLB on there myself, but no big deal at all.Beautiful picture, clear and crisp sound and the remote even has the popular presets like Prime, Netflix, Hulu…The intuitiveness of this tv is remarkable and just so WONDERFUL – especially in this technological day in age of where everything is supposed to be so much easier, when, in fact, it’s just seems to be getting more difficult to do the simplest of tasks these days!!!!So far we have it a couple of weeks and really loving it! It gives our Samsung a run for the money – well, actually it literally does since the Samsung was so much more money and for less offerings.I would definitely recommend this television and would even purchase it again and without “fear” (Lol) this time.It has fun backgrounds too and a nice preset screensaver. For the money, this 50″ tv is a lot bigger than it’s size hands down, with it’s simplicity of set up, operation and for just plain ole watching tv!!!Have to say that this Roku has made tv fun again!!!

Great price for a great TV.
Great Roku TV. We had a TCL ROKU TV and many stations freeze or it just goes to the main menu. Great picture, easy setup. Very thin and light.
